Apartment for Rent Luxury Stay Near to Jemaa el-Fnaa Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Apartment for Rent Luxury Stay Near to Jemaa el-Fnaa,” I was a bit skeptical. The slightly awkward English had me wondering what I was getting into. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible.
The location is pretty much perfect if you want to experience Marrakech without being thrown directly into the chaos. It’s tucked away on Avenue Mohammed V in the Gueliz district – think of it as the more modern, breathing-room part of the city where locals actually live and work. You’re about a 10-minute walk from the medina madness, which honestly is ideal. Close enough that you can dive into the souks and the main square whenever you want, but far enough that you can escape back to somewhere quiet when the sensory overload kicks in (and it will). The building itself – Residance Andalous – looks pretty standard from the outside, but the apartment on the first floor is actually well-maintained and surprisingly spacious.
What really won me over was how this place feels like staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. The owner clearly put thought into the details – decent Wi-Fi that actually works, a kitchen that’s properly stocked if you want to hit the local markets and cook, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything functions the way it should. The bathroom has good water pressure, which anyone who’s traveled in Morocco will tell you is not something to take for granted. One thing to note – it’s on the first floor (which is actually the second floor if you’re American), so you will be doing some stairs. Not a big deal unless you’re traveling with heavy luggage and no one to help. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet at night, which I appreciated after spending days in the medina where the noise never really stops. You’ll hear the call to prayer from nearby mosques, but it’s not overwhelming – more like part of the authentic soundtrack. There’s decent parking nearby too, though I’d recommend just using taxis or walking since driving in Marrakech is basically an extreme sport. The whole area comes alive during the day with cafes and shops, but it’s not touristy-busy like the areas right around Jemaa el-Fnaa. You’ll actually see families going about their daily lives, which gives you a much better sense of what the city is really like beyond the tourist bubble.

Reviews of Apartment for Rent Luxury Stay Near to Jemaa el-Fnaa
Good value very responsive host – Duncan from France – 23 April 2025 (8/10)
Spacious
What could be improved: No bath mat. Little dish liquid and dish sponge needed replacingComfortable, secure, and well-located—perfect for a relaxed stay in Marrakesh, and Leila was an amazing host. – Szilveszter from Hungary – 13 April 2025 (10/10)
We stayed for 4 nights in this apartment in Gueliz and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—close to restaurants, shops, and bus lines 1, 6, and 16 that take you to the Medina in around 15 minutes.
The apartment is in a secure residential building with 24/7 security, a locked main entrance, and a key-scanned elevator, which gave us peace of mind. It’s fully equipped with everything we needed: a large fridge, oven, microwave, washing machine, air conditioner, and constant hot water from the boiler. It’s clean, spacious, and comfortable. Even the sofas are fine for sleeping on. At first, there were no sheets or blanket cover for the sofa bed, but our host Leila was quick to respond and brought them within a few hours—great service.
What could be improved: While the address is correct, searching it on Google Maps can sometimes show the wrong location. Our taxi driver from the airport ended up taking us to a different Andalous residence by mistake. For future guests, we recommend using “Le Marivaux Marrakech” restaurant as a reference point—it’s right next to the apartment and much easier to find.
There’s some construction going on nearby for a new building, so it can be a bit noisy if windows are open. But when closed, the apartment is quiet and relaxing.Amazing – James from United Kingdom – 30 March 2025 (10/10)
A great place to stay clean friendly modern would recommend to anyone
What could be improved: There is construction going on outside so was a little noisy in the morning however that’s not the hotels fault so It wouldn’t let it affect the ratingExceptional – Razaz from United Kingdom – 26 March 2025 (10/10)
The flat was very modern and very comfortable. It’s about 20 mins away from the airport and 8mins drive into the Medina. It has everything you need around it, money exchange, restaurants and cafes, supermarkets and even a printing place to print out your boarding pass! Leyla was also super helpful in helping us with where to go, change money etc. 100% recommend it!
Superb – Katalina from Canada – 8 March 2025 (9/10)
Great location, nice, clean apartment, fast WIFI with everything you need including hair dryer, washing machine, some sugar, salt and tea in the fully equipped kitchen. Excellent communication with the host throughout 🙂 Highly recommend!
What could be improved: An airport shuttle is advertised in the listing but unfortunately, Leila was not able to directly help us with getting a taxi to the airport. She suggested we use an app I'd never heard of before to find local taxi drivers, but I wasn't willing to learn a new app just to get a one-time taxi. We ended up finding a taxi; there are plenty around, so this worked out fine, but we would have appreciated it if the "airport shuttle" service was not mentioned at all if we're meant to figure it out on our own anyways.Nice apartment in Marrakesh – Elsa from Spain – 22 February 2025 (7/10)

Perfect location, and great value for your Dirhams! – Yaseen from United Kingdom – 16 October 2023 (10/10)
Leila was a great host. The property was clean and had the basic utensils that I needed during my stay. Located right next to a supermarket that had everything I may need!
What could be improved: The WiFi in Morocco isn’t that great, so that was my only qualm. Other than that my stay was great!Clean, comfortable , good service and great location – Nada from Belgium – 8 September 2023 (10/10)
