But you know what? This place actually delivers on that panoramic view promise, and then some. The moment you step onto that terrace (and trust me, you’ll be spending a lot of time out there), you’re looking out over the entire Gueliz district with the Atlas Mountains doing their dramatic backdrop thing in the distance. I mean, the photos don’t lie, but seeing it in person – especially during sunset when the light hits those peaks – it’s something else entirely.

The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the absolute chaos of the medina. Rue El Qadi Ayad puts you right in the heart of modern Marrakech, which means you can actually walk to decent restaurants, cafés, and shops without needing to negotiate with taxi drivers every single time. There’s this little café called Café du Livre just a few streets over that locals actually go to (not just tourists), and honestly, their morning coffee situation is better than what you’ll find at most hotels. The apartment itself feels more spacious than typical Marrakech accommodations – those two bedrooms aren’t just afterthoughts crammed into a corner, they’re actually livable spaces with decent storage.

What really impressed me was how quiet it stays despite being so central. Yeah, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it’s not the constant honking and scooter symphony you get in other parts of the city. The building feels solid, well-maintained – not like some of those riads where you’re wondering if the plumbing will hold up. The kitchen is functional enough that you could actually cook if you wanted to (though with all the food options nearby, why would you?). Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that “meet me at the corner and follow me through three alleyways” situation. The 9.2 rating makes sense when you add it all up – it’s not trying to be some Instagram-perfect boutique experience, it’s just a really solid base for exploring Marrakech that happens to have killer views and puts you exactly where you want to be.

  We loved staying in this apartment and wish we didn’t have to leave! The terrace and views are lovely and it’s a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. It’s so close to everything Gueliz has to offer and walking distance to the Medina, or a short taxi. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and to make our own tagine. It was very spacious for two people and have no doubt it would be very comfortable with four people. Great host and we would love to stay again! Thank you!

  Het terras was magnifiek en het appartement was zeer ruim , ook echt een toplocatie en een veilige buurt
  
  What could be improved: Er was te weinig bestek, een echt goeie pan was er ook niet en kookgerief zoals zout, peper en olijfolie ontbrak ook
  Het hoofdbed was ook wel zeer hard zelfs voor marrokaans standaarden

  L’appartamento è situato in una bella zona di Marrakech, moderna e con supermercati e negozi a circa 10 minuti a piedi. Inoltre si trova in un’ottima posizione per raggiungere la zona storica della città con una bella passeggiata a piedi. L’appartamento è molto comodo, dispone di una cucina con tutto quello che serve per cucinare e 2 stanze da letto. Il balcone dotato di tavolo e sedie si affaccia su un magnifico giardino verde. Olivier, la persona che ci accolto per mostrarci l’appartamento e darci le chiavi, è stato molto gentile e disponibile a darci tutte le indicazioni relative alla casa e sopratutto alla città. Ci piacerebbe ritornarci la prossima volta che torneremo a Marrakech.

  Location is very good. Got everywhere by foot.
