The name makes it sound like just another apartment rental, but honestly, it’s got more character than half the boutique hotels I’ve stayed at in Marrakech. The location on Avenue Al Mouqaouama is actually pretty smart – you’re close enough to the medina chaos that you can walk there in about six minutes (hence the name, I guess), but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the constant horn honking and tourist hustle at all hours.

The terrace is really where this place shines, and I mean that literally – the afternoon light hitting the Atlas Mountains in the distance is something else. I found myself having my morning coffee out there every day, watching the city wake up below. The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciate. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t feel like it was staged for Instagram. The kitchen actually has proper pots and pans (not those flimsy tourist apartment ones), and the Wi-Fi worked reliably, which – let’s be honest – isn’t always a given in this part of town.

What I really liked was how the host seemed to know the neighborhood inside and out. They pointed me toward this little café around the corner that I never would have found otherwise, and gave me the real scoop on which taxi drivers to avoid near Jemaa el-Fnaa. The building itself is pretty typical for the area – nothing fancy, but solid and quiet at night. I was worried about noise since we’re talking about Marrakech here, but the double windows actually do their job. One small thing though – the hot water takes a minute to get going in the morning, so just factor that in if you’re rushing to catch an early tour. For the price point and that terrace view, I’d definitely book it again. It’s got that sweet spot feel where you’re getting genuine local flavor without sacrificing the basics you need as a traveler.

  J'ai beaucoup apprécié tout mon séjour.
  Appartement un peu excentré mais Bus possible, et tous les petits commerces nécessaires sont là à proximité. Du coup on profite d'échanger avec les habitants des autres logements et des commerces.
  L'appartement est suffisamment grand et fonctionnel, l'accès à la terrasse et la piscine reste vraiment un plus .
  Les interlocuteurs sont très disponibles et vraiment charmants. Tout est fait pour satisfaire le client.

  What could be improved: لم يتم استقبالي في يوم الوصول إلى مراكش اتصلت عدة مرات بالمضيف ولم يرد على اتصالاتي ، ثم اضطررت للنوم في المطار لأنني وصلت في الليل ، ثم اتصلت به في اليوم الثاني وقال انه سيأتي الي ، وبعد انتظار طويل ، اتصل بي وقال تعال الى العنوان التالي ، اركب التكسي وانت سوف اخبر التكسي أين يأخذك ، الشقة كانت نفسها في الصور ، ولكن الموقع كان مختلف وبعيد . للأسف كانت تجربة سيئة جدا ، ولن أعود إلى مراكش مرة اخرى.

  What could be improved: Location was incorrectly advertised on booking.com, being several kilometres away from the actual location. When I arrived, the owner sent me the real apartment location via WhatsApp. This incurred additional expense in taxis every time I wanted to go out to the City.

  Szuper szállás, az ember a nap végén azt érzi, hogy hazamegy. A berendezési tárgyakon is érződik a marokkói életérzés. Kényelmes, minden megvan, ami kell. Ha újra jönnék, újra itt szállnék meg.
  
  What could be improved: A szomszédok néha kicsit hangosak. A ház messze van a központtól, de ez végülis nem baj, mert van busz, és a környék csendes.

  L’appartement pour deux personne était superbe et le must la grande où l’on manger, se détendre et profiter du soleil en compagnie des oiseaux. Nous avons pu nous garer sans problème sur le parking public en toute sécurité.
  Possibilité de faire un lessive ce qui ne gâche rien.
  Le propriétaire Aziz est très professionnel, très accueillant et plein de bons conseils.
  Vraiment un séjour parfait. N’hésitez pas !
