The location on Rue du Lieutenant Lamure is solid gold. I mean, you’re literally walking distance to Avenue Mohammed V where all the good cafes and shops are, but the street itself is quiet enough that you can actually sleep at night. That’s harder to find in Marrakech than you’d think. The building is one of those French colonial-era ones that gives Gueliz its character – you know, the wide staircases and high ceilings that make you feel like you’re in a different era. The apartment itself feels more spacious than most hotel rooms, and there’s something refreshing about having a proper kitchen when you want to grab fresh oranges from the local market instead of paying hotel prices for orange juice.

What really works here is that you get the best of both worlds. You can walk to the train station in about ten minutes (super handy if you’re doing day trips to Casablanca), but you’re also close enough to taxi into the medina whenever you want that full sensory overload experience.   Flat was in a secure building and we felt very safe with the kids. It was clean, kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfy. We had have a wonderful and memorable stay in this apartment.   Very good location in the middle of new part of the city and near train station. A lot of good restaurant around and for us was perfect to stay away from noisy and crowded medina.
  Parking was also to find so easy and we felt very safe in this area too.

  Breakfast was not included in the room, but with the great kitchen and stores nearby, there was not an issue of cooking breakfast.
