The Gueliz district has this interesting mix of modern Morocco and traditional charm that you don’t get in the touristy areas, and this place sits right in the sweet spot.

The building itself surprised me – it’s got that solid, confident feel of newer construction but without any of that sterile hotel chain vibe. Walking into the apartment (and yes, it really feels like an apartment, not a hotel room), I actually found myself relaxing in a way I hadn’t expected. The space is thoughtfully laid out, with enough room to spread out your stuff and not feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. What I loved most was how quiet it gets at night – Hivernage doesn’t have the constant hum of scooters and late-night street vendors that can keep you up in the medina, but you’re still close enough to walk to the action when you want it.

The practical stuff matters too, and this place gets it right. Check-in was smooth – no awkward language barriers or confusion about keys. The kitchen actually works (I mean, really works, not just decorative), which is huge if you want to grab some of those amazing olives and cheese from the local markets and have a proper breakfast. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven in Marrakech will tell you is basically a miracle. I found myself using this place as a real base – coming back between exploring sessions, taking actual breaks instead of just powering through tourist site after tourist site. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you stay here; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails the things that actually matter when you’re traveling. You’re a quick walk from some genuinely good restaurants that locals go to, and when you need to venture into the medina or hit the major sights, you’re positioned perfectly without being in the middle of all the chaos. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your next trip back before you’ve even left.

  L appartamento era pulitissimo e fornitissimo.nel bagno potevi mangiare a terra.
  Situato in un quartiere tranquillissimo e molto carino.khoutubia e djama al fana nn sono molto lontani e la strada per arrivarci facilissima.circa 20 minuti a piede e passando per una strada piacevolissima ,grande e costeggiata da parchi.sembrava un oasi di pace.nn c era traffico e nn si sentiva nessun rumore.consigliata
