You know what really caught me off guard about this place? The moment you turn off Route des Jardins de la Palmeraie, you’re suddenly in this incredibly quiet pocket of Marrakech that feels worlds away from the medina chaos. I mean, the Palmeraie district is already more residential than touristy, but this particular spot – honestly, it’s like someone carved out a little slice of luxury and just tucked it away where only the locals seem to know about it.

The apartment itself is exactly what “luxury” should mean in Morocco – it’s not trying to be some generic five-star chain experience. Instead, you get these gorgeous traditional touches (the tilework around the bathroom is incredible) mixed with actually functional modern stuff. The kitchen’s properly equipped, which is huge if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to grab ingredients from the local markets. And the air conditioning – thank god – actually works well, because even in the Palmeraie where it’s a bit cooler than downtown, those afternoon temperatures can still hit you hard. I stayed there in early October and the unit kept everything perfectly comfortable.

What really sells this place though is the whole Palmeraie Village 2 complex. It’s got this resort-style pool area that’s rarely crowded (most tourists don’t even know these residential developments exist), and the security is excellent without being intrusive. Parking’s included, which anyone who’s driven in Marrakech will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The location is sort of perfect if you ask me – you’re about fifteen minutes from Jemaa el-Fnaa by car, but you can also walk to some really solid neighborhood spots. There’s this little café about five minutes away where the locals actually hang out, and the bread in the morning is… well, let’s just say I gained a few pounds. The 9.5 rating makes complete sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where every detail just works, and you can tell the owners actually care about the experience rather than just collecting booking fees.

  Het grote zwembad had lekker water en ligbedjes.

  What could be improved: Op het park is het restaurant vervallen en was nu niet in gebruik. De bar ook niet en de andere ronde zwembaden waren niet gevuld.

  Superbe appartement, bien équipé. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse qui donne sur un bel espace vert. Les jardins et piscines sont bien entretenus.
  
  What could be improved: Dommage qu'il n'y ait plus de restaurant dans la résidence. Il faut prendre la voiture pour les courses et visiter. Je pensais qu'il serait plus proche des commerces.

  Dies war mein erstes Appartement hier in Marokko und alle meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Es war alles perfekt: Das Appartement ist wunderschön vor allem auch der Garten, die Ausstattung ist super, Schlüsselübergabe war perfekt (man erhält einen Code mit dem man ein und ausgehen kann), den Gastgeber lernte ich nicht persönlich kennen aber die Kommunikation über WhatsApp funktionierte einwandfrei. Ich kann das Appartement nur weiterempfehlen und würde es sofort wieder buchen. Ich komme wirklich gerne wieder.

  Résidence sécurisée. Appartement spacieux, literie confortable, matelas d'appoint au-delà de 4p. Equipement complet (machines linge et vaisselle, séchoirs, etc). La piscine est ouverte toute l'année et surveillée. L'espace commerces à proximité est très pratique. L'appartement est très bien placé pour un séjour sur Marrakech et découvrir les environs.
