The kitchen is fully kitted out, which saved me a fortune since I could grab fresh ingredients from the local markets instead of eating out every meal. And the air conditioning – crucial detail here – actually works properly, unlike some places I’ve stayed in the medina where it’s more decorative than functional.

What really makes this place special though is the location situation. You’re about a 15-minute taxi ride from Jemaa el-Fnaa and all the medina craziness, but you’re also right near the Menara Gardens, which most people rush through but are actually perfect for morning walks before it gets stupidly hot. The neighborhood has this authentic residential vibe – there’s a little café around the corner where locals hang out, and a decent grocery store within walking distance. I found myself coming back here mid-afternoon just to escape the intensity of the old city, and that balance made all the difference. The only minor thing – and this is really minor – is that you’ll want to have your taxi driver’s number handy since it’s not exactly on the main tourist routes. But honestly, that’s also why you’ll sleep better here than anywhere in the medina, where the call to prayer echoes off every wall at dawn. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between authentic Marrakech experience and actually being able to relax, this is it.

  The appartement is very nice. Well equipped, clean and quite spacious. It is located in a very calm and an easy-to-access neighborhood not too far from the city centre. The owner is very easy to reach and always available to help if anything is needed in the flat. I can't recommend the place enough!

  The apartment is lovely and very well-equipped. The hosts were very helpful and always available.
  
  What could be improved: It wasn't easy to get a taxi into the centre and none of the taxis dropping us back could find the place. This was a problem, coming from the airport, since we'd not got internet sorted to show the driver the GPS. Luckily the hosts were great and, several times, had to take calls from us to instruct the taxi drivers.

  What could be improved: I think my only problem was the extra tax that was added to my bill. When I paid online, I thought I had paid everything, but when I arrived, I was told that I had to pay more, for tax. I did not like this at all. But I guess it is the requirement of the city, so I don't blame the property owners for this.
