The airport is maybe 10 minutes away, so those late flights or early departures aren’t the nightmare they usually are. The medina is still accessible, but you’ll need a taxi or car to get there — honestly, after a day of exploring the souks, coming back to this quiet residential area feels like a sanctuary.

This isn’t your typical hotel room situation — Appartement de luxe Marrakech Menara gives you a full apartment setup, and I mean properly equipped. The kitchen actually works (I made coffee every morning), there’s real living space to spread out, and the bedroom feels like somewhere you’d actually want to spend time. The air conditioning works well, which in Marrakech is absolutely essential. What struck me most was how clean and well-maintained everything felt — sometimes with apartment rentals you get that slightly worn feeling, but not here.

What Makes It Special

The thing about this place is that it gives you space to live like a local for a few days. There’s a small balcony where I’d sit in the evenings with a drink, watching the neighborhood come alive as the heat died down. The Wi-Fi is solid (I worked from here a couple of days), and there’s actually decent water pressure in the shower — details that matter when you’re covered in dust from exploring the city. I also noticed how quiet it gets at night, which after the constant buzz of central Marrakech was exactly what I needed.

I can absolutely see why this place gets such high marks from couples — there’s something romantic about having your own little Moroccan hideaway. You can cook dinner together if you want, or just collapse on the sofa after a day of sightseeing without worrying about hotel lobby noise or thin walls. The neighborhood has a few local cafes and small shops, so you can grab fresh bread in the morning or mint tea in the afternoon. It’s that perfect balance of being in Morocco but having a comfortable, private base to return to each day.

  The appartement is very nice. Well equipped, clean and quite spacious. It is located in a very calm and an easy-to-access neighborhood not too far from the city centre. The owner is very easy to reach and always available to help if anything is needed in the flat. I can't recommend the place enough!

  The apartment is lovely and very well-equipped. The hosts were very helpful and always available.
  
  What could be improved: It wasn't easy to get a taxi into the centre and none of the taxis dropping us back could find the place. This was a problem, coming from the airport, since we'd not got internet sorted to show the driver the GPS. Luckily the hosts were great and, several times, had to take calls from us to instruct the taxi drivers.

  What could be improved: I think my only problem was the extra tax that was added to my bill. When I paid online, I thought I had paid everything, but when I arrived, I was told that I had to pay more, for tax. I did not like this at all. But I guess it is the requirement of the city, so I don't blame the property owners for this.
