Close enough that you can easily get into the thick of things, but far enough that you can decompress when you need to. The taxi drivers all know the area, though you might want to have the address written in Arabic just to be safe. One thing I noticed is how much cooler it stays here compared to the city center – something about the layout and the trees, I think. The evenings are genuinely pleasant for sitting outside. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room, with thoughtful touches and local artwork that doesn’t feel touristy. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend confirming arrival times in advance since it’s not a traditional hotel setup. The whole experience just feels more authentic than the typical Marrakech tourist trail – you’re staying somewhere real people live, shopping where they shop, and getting a glimpse of daily life that you’d miss entirely if you stuck to the fancy riads in the medina.
