You’re literally walking distance from all the good stuff in Gueliz, which is Marrakech’s modern district where locals actually hang out, not just tourists buying overpriced tagines.

The building itself, Résidence Jacaranda, has that clean, contemporary Moroccan vibe – you know, the kind where they’ve figured out how to blend traditional elements without making it feel like a theme park. What really struck me was how quiet it actually gets at night, despite being so central. I was expecting street noise, but the apartment is positioned well enough that you get the convenience without the chaos. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, which is refreshing when you’ve stayed in too many cookie-cutter places. There’s attention to detail here that you don’t always find – proper lighting where you need it, enough outlets for your devices, and a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Carrefour and cook something simple.

Here’s what sold me though: the location puts you about ten minutes from the Majorelle Gardens if you’re into that scene, but more importantly, you’re surrounded by actual Marrakech life. There’s a great little café just down the street where locals grab their morning coffee, and the neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’re not constantly dodging tour groups. The host clearly knows their stuff – check-in was smooth, they actually answered questions about the area with useful specifics, and the 8.9 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but it nails the fundamentals: clean, comfortable, well-located, and priced fairly for what you get. Plus, if you’re planning to explore beyond Marrakech, the location makes it easy to get to the airport or catch transport to other cities without dealing with medina traffic. I’d definitely book this again, especially if you want to experience Marrakech more like a temporary resident than a tourist passing through.

  The property was nice and clean with plenty of the required necessities that you will find in an apartment. There are plenty of space in the living room and bedroom as displayed in the pictures.
  The location is not that far from the centre of Marrakesh (15-20mins).

  The property is very spacious, has a lovely balcony and comfy bed with a vanity! My host is a welcoming and kind lady who answered my questions regarding the local area and was happy to help if I needed anything.   the host was kind, thoughtful and helpful, made sure that I was comfortable and happy and offered great communication and smooth check in and check out. the place is specious and has full amenities. kitchen and washing machine were in good condition. place has nice sofas and terrace. several groceries and stores not far. area was safe and decent.
