Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Appartement marrakech de lux on Route de Targa, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The name’s a bit fancy, but the location actually puts you in this interesting spot where you’re close enough to the medina madness but far enough out that you can actually hear yourself think at night. Route de Targa is one of those main arteries that locals use to skip the tourist traffic, which means you’re sort of getting a real glimpse of how Marrakech actually functions.

The apartment itself surprised me – and I mean that in a good way. It’s got this modern Moroccan thing going on that doesn’t feel forced or like someone just threw a bunch of zellige tiles at the wall and called it authentic. The space is genuinely luxurious without being stuffy, you know? There’s this gorgeous terrace where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the Atlas Mountains emerge from the haze – honestly, that view alone is worth the stay. The kitchen’s actually functional too, which is rare in these kinds of places. I ended up cooking a few meals there because, well, sometimes you need a break from tagine (though don’t get me wrong, I love tagine). The beds are proper comfortable, and the air conditioning works – trust me, in Marrakech, that’s not always a given.

What really sold me on this place was the neighborhood vibe. You’re about a 15-minute taxi ride from Jemaa el-Fnaa, but walking distance from some fantastic local spots that most tourists never find. There’s this little café around the corner where the mint tea is ridiculously good, and the bread guy comes by every morning around 7 AM with fresh khubz – you’ll hear him calling out from the street. The area gets pretty quiet after dinner, which is perfect if you’ve spent the day getting your senses overwhelmed in the souks. Parking’s not too bad either, though I’d recommend asking the host about the best spots since street parking can be… well, let’s just say it’s an adventure. The 8.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not perfect (the WiFi can be spotty, and the hot water takes a minute to kick in), but it’s got character and comfort in equal measure. If you’re looking for something that feels more like staying in someone’s really nice home rather than a cookie-cutter hotel, this hits the mark.

  Nous y avons passé 2 nuits en famille, c'était super rien à dire agréablement surprise l'appartement est décoré avec goût, opérationnel sur tous les niveaux, literie très confortable et résidence super sécurisé. Je remercie le propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité dès qu'on avait besoin de lui ! On sait où revenir pour notre prochain passage sur Marrakech, merci encore !

  L'appartement est situé dans un quartier et résidence au calme et bien sécurisé il est neuf. Très bien situé. L'endroit est propre et confortable. La déco est moderne et de bon goût. Il y a tout le confort nécéssaire pour passer de bonnes vacances. La piscine est très propre et est un plus pour tous. L'hôte est très gentil, serviable et à l'écoute.il est disponible.une surprise vous attendra de sa part( nous l'avons ratee)je vous recommande cette appartement qui allie découverte et confort
