When I first walked into apartment N37, I was expecting something a bit more basic, but the space felt genuinely upscale without being stuffy. The location in Hivernage is pretty perfect if you ask me – you’re close enough to hear the occasional call to prayer drifting over from the medina, but far enough away that you can actually get some sleep (trust me, this matters more than you think in Marrakech).

The apartment itself has this cool blend of modern comfort and Moroccan touches that doesn’t feel forced. I spent most mornings on the terrace with coffee, watching the Atlas Mountains peek through the morning haze – something you definitely don’t get in the busier tourist zones. What I really appreciated was how the building manages to feel residential rather than hotel-like, which means you’re not dealing with tour groups clogging up the lobby at 6 AM. The Hivernage neighborhood is honestly underrated – you’ve got the Majorelle Garden just a short walk away, and when you want proper Moroccan street food, you can duck into the medina without the hassle of staying right in the thick of it.

Practically speaking, the place just works well. The kitchen is actually functional (I made proper meals, not just instant noodles), and the Wi-Fi was solid enough for video calls back home. Parking isn’t a nightmare like it can be closer to Jemaa el-Fna, and the building’s security felt reassuring without being intrusive. I’ll be honest – the check-in process was a bit more involved than a typical hotel since it’s an apartment rental, but the management was responsive and the whole thing felt more personal because of it. The 9.1 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Marrakech, but it delivers exactly what you want: a comfortable base that lets you experience the city without the tourist-trap nonsense. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re actually living somewhere rather than just passing through, this spot hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Tout était top, le design de l’appartement, la disponibilité du propriétaire, l’emplacement.. un rapport qualité prix au top! Je recommande vraiment ce logement.
  
  What could be improved: L’accès à la piscine était impossible, tous les enfants (sûrement pas tous de la résidence) ont accaparés l’espace empêchant ainsi de pouvoir en profiter car ils était très très nombreux.
