You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually in one of those newer apartment buildings in Gueliz – the kind where you take a proper elevator to the first floor and think “okay, this feels more like visiting a friend than checking into a hotel.” The building on Boulevard Abdelkarim Al Khattabi has that solid, no-nonsense feel that a lot of the flashier riads in the medina honestly lack.

The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious, and I mean that in the best way. When you’re used to cramped European-style hotel rooms, having actual room to spread out feels like a luxury. The pool area is where this place really shines though – it’s not huge, but it’s clean and actually gets used, unlike some of those Instagram-perfect pools that are too cold to swim in. The gym is basic but functional, which is more than you can say for a lot of places in this price range. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays in the evenings – Gueliz can get pretty lively, but this particular block seems to miss most of the street noise.

Location-wise, you’re right in the heart of modern Marrakech without being stuck in tourist central. There’s a decent café literally around the corner where locals actually go for breakfast, and you can walk to the train station in about fifteen minutes if you’re planning day trips. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you consider that this isn’t trying to be some boutique experience – it’s just genuinely comfortable and well-maintained. The owners clearly put thought into the practical stuff too, like having enough electrical outlets and decent water pressure, which sounds boring but matters a lot when you’re actually living there for a few days. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer trip and wanted somewhere that felt more like a temporary home base than a hotel room.

  It had everything I needed. The location was great and everything was available nearby. The host was very helpful as I could not connect to the internet.
  
  What could be improved: Someone was doing renovation works and it was somewhat noisy part of the day, Then, on the weekend I heard loud conversations until the early hours in the morniing but I cannot say that it is always like this or if I was just unlucky.

  Dobre położenie od centrum ,na balkonie głośno bardzo duży ruch uliczny ale po zamknięciu drzwi nie było nic słychać ogólnie wygodny i dość dobrze wyposażony sofa jest nierozkładana dobry kontakt z właścicielem obiekt ż całodobową ochroną ,polecam .

  What could be improved: L'appartement manque de confort pour le quotidien (pas de plat allant au four, une poêle, une casserole abîmée,pas de couteaux dans les tiroirs).
  Les photos sur Booking, biens prises, ne reflètent pas l'état actuel de l'appartement. Par exemple, la terrasse donnant sur la cour interieure n'est pas du tout aménagée comme sur les photos.

  L’appartement est super propre et bien équipé, l’hôte est à l’écoute et super réactif et le personnel est super gentil et attentionné ! un gros coup de cœur également pour la localisation et le parking privé à ne pas négliger avec cette chaleur ..
