Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Marrakech, and this apartment in Résidence Fairouz honestly surprised me. You know what struck me first? The view from that third-floor balcony – you can actually see the Atlas Mountains on clear days, which isn’t something you get from most places in this price range. The morning light hits just right, and I found myself having coffee out there way longer than I planned.

The apartment itself feels genuinely modern, not that fake-modern you sometimes get where they just slap some IKEA furniture in an old space and call it renovated. The kitchen actually works – I mean, you can cook real meals here, which is huge if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The AC keeps up with Marrakech heat (trust me, this matters in summer), and the wifi is solid enough for video calls, though honestly, you’re probably not going to want to be on your laptop much with that terrace calling.

What I really appreciated was the location – you’re in a residential area, so it’s quiet at night, but you’re still close enough to walk to the medina without needing a taxi every time. The building has this nice courtyard feel that’s typical of newer Marrakech construction, and the neighbors are friendly without being intrusive. Parking can be a bit tight on the street, but there’s usually something within a block or two. The only minor thing – and this is pretty common in Morocco – is that the hot water takes a minute to get going in the morning, but once it’s hot, it stays hot. For the price and the space you get, especially with that view, it’s honestly a solid choice if you want to feel like you’re living in Marrakech rather than just passing through.

  Appartement avec superbe vue, au calme, tout en étant proche du centre.
  Nous n'avons pas eu besoin de garer la voiture dans le parking car le quartier est sûr, avec des petits commerces et des restaurants variés à quelques minutes à pied.
  Le logement est bien équipé. Il correspond aux photos. Les lits sont très confortables.
  Karim répond vite aux messages et il nous a demandé à plusieurs reprises pendant le séjour si tout allait bien.
