What I really appreciated was having a proper living area where you can relax in the evening, maybe plan the next day’s adventures without being confined to a bed.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s where this place really shines — the location is spot-on for exploring Marrakech without being overwhelmed by it. You’re close enough to reach the medina and Jemaa el-Fnaa in about 15 minutes by taxi, but far enough away that you can escape the intensity when you need to. The Gueliz district is practically next door, which means proper restaurants, cafes, and that more modern Moroccan lifestyle if you want a break from the tourist trail. I found myself walking to nearby shops and getting a real feel for how locals live, which you don’t always get in the medina hotels.

The Pool Situation

Let’s talk about that pool — honestly, it’s a game-changer during Marrakech’s warmer months. After spending hours wandering through souks or visiting palaces, coming back to take a dip is absolutely perfect. The pool area is shared with other residents, but it never felt crowded during my stay. There are decent spots to lounge around, and the water is clean and well-maintained. It’s not huge, but it’s exactly what you need to cool off and reset before heading out for dinner.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.8 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. Couples especially seem to appreciate the privacy and space — you’re not dealing with hotel corridors and thin walls, so there’s actually some romance to be found here. The value is incredible too; you’re getting apartment-style accommodation with a pool in a great location for significantly less than comparable hotels. Plus, having that kitchen means you can grab fresh ingredients from local markets and create your own Moroccan feast, which honestly became one of my favorite parts of the trip. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re living in Marrakech rather than just visiting it.

  The apartment was lovely and the bed very comfortable, the host was very pleasant.If I were to come back here I would book again. We were close to the airport ,some lovely restaurants and about 10 mins from jemma el fina ( the huge market area ) and menara mall . Menara Mall has a huge area for kids ( and young at heart kids) on the top floor.
  Overall we had a lovely time in a beautiful apartment and if you are young and still fit it's a fabulous place to stay. If like us and you are not so fit or have knackered knees then check if the lift is working before you book.
  
  What could be improved: The most frustrating thing was the lift was broken and the apartment is up 3 very long flights of stairs so it was daunting leaving the apartment knowing that when we got back we would have to tackle them each time . The day we checked out they had been fixed so hopefully they will stay working .
  The pool was freezing so we couldn't use it but it looked lovely and inviting otherwise .
  The area is under a lot of construction and will be fantastic in a couple of years .
