Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place – the Appartement Privé 1 Chambre Vizir Center is one of those spots that grows on you, even if it doesn’t knock your socks off at first glance. When I pulled up to the address on Circuit de la Palmeraie (and honestly, finding it took a bit of circling around the Ouled Ben Rahmoun area), I wasn’t immediately wowed. But here’s the thing about Marrakech – sometimes the best experiences come wrapped in understated packages.

The apartment itself is actually pretty solid for what you’re paying. It’s got that clean, modern vibe that works well if you’re coming off a long day exploring the souks or dealing with the organized chaos of Jemaa el-Fnaa. The bedroom is decent-sized, and you know what I appreciated? The air conditioning actually works properly – which, trust me, matters a lot when you’re staying in this part of Morocco during the warmer months. The kitchenette is basic but functional, though I ended up eating out most nights anyway because, well, you’re in Marrakech. The Wi-Fi was reliable enough for video calls back home, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed.

What I really liked about the location is that you’re sort of in this sweet spot between the tourist madness and authentic local life. You’re close enough to the Palmeraie area that you can actually see some greenery – a nice break from the red walls and dusty streets of the medina. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel where you’ll see families going about their daily routines, kids playing in the streets, and corner shops that locals actually use. It’s maybe a 15-minute taxi ride to the main tourist areas, but honestly, that distance is kind of perfect. You can dive into the intensity of the old city during the day, then retreat to somewhere that feels more… I don’t know, normal? The evenings are pretty quiet, which helped me sleep better than I expected. There’s a decent café about a five-minute walk away where the owner speaks enough English to help with directions, and their mint tea is legit. Parking isn’t terrible if you’re renting a car, though I’d recommend sticking with taxis or the local buses – driving in Marrakech is its own adventure, and not always the fun kind. The 7.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s honest, clean, and gives you a real taste of living in the city rather than just visiting it.

  L’appartement est très bien et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. 3 piscines à disposition dont une très bien pour les enfants. Possibilité de manger au bord de la piscine.
  Et surtout merci à Mohamed qui est resté joignable tous le long du séjour.

  What could be improved: La piscine n’est pas chauffée et quelques travaux au niveau du stade rendant un peu compliqué l’accès (indépendant de l’établissement et n’empêche en rien d’y accéder)

  Magnifique séjour dans un superbe appartement, très propre et bien équipé. Le cadre est familial sans parler des piscines et de l'espace vert. Monsieur Mohamed était au petit soin. On reviendra les yeux fermés.

  Ambiente súper tranquilo en la residencia LE VIZIR, mucho relax y un paisaje verde magnifico, sin ruido de música y poca gente, me encanto la estancia, una auténtica terapia para el estrés y para pasar unos días con familia, es un sitio más bien familiar que para otra cosa.
  Por lo que concierne al apartamento de Mohamed es muy chulo y no le falta de nada, cocina amueblada con todo lo necesario en material y electrodomésticos, falta la microonda, cama de matrimonio muy ancha, un sofá cama cómodo para los niños, comedor de cristal, chimenea , Tv con IPTV donde puedes ver canales de deporte gratis .. Limpio, moderno, seguro, accesible (primera planta y muy próximo al estacionamiento del coche y de la piscina), una terraza grande que da al jardín, total: es idéntico a las fotos, y lo que más destacaría es la reactividad del anfitrión (Mohamed) a nuestras pocas peticiones, está atento al último detalle y nos facilitó mucho la vida (le agradecemos mucho).
  Hay un snack en la piscina que tiene casi de todo (desayuno y comida ) y con precios muy razonables.
  Lo recomendaría y volvería sin duda cuando podamos.
  
  What could be improved: Anteriormente el acceso al parque de al lado estaba incluido en el pack de las reservaciones, ahora no, el parque es privado y de pago sobre todo (y lo que nos interesaba) es la piscina privada para mujeres que ahora es de pago.
  Por lo que me contó el anfitrión, están en negociaciones con los nuevos dueños del parque para incluir a los clientes de la residencia el acceso al parque (sería una magnífica noticia !!)

  What could be improved: Het geheel is toe aan een renovatie. Geen buiten meubilair aanwezig, stond wel op de foto van het balkon. Keukeninventaris zeer beperkt. Waterdruk redelijk. Slaapbank kan niet goed ingevouwen worden als je erop wil zitten.

  Appartement heel comfortabel en beschikt over hotel kwaliteit spullen, de aanwezigheid van verschillende zwembaden en speel mogelijkheden, niet zo ver van de stad, en de beheerder is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
