You know what struck me first about this place? The name sounds way fancier than it actually is – and I mean that in the best possible way. Appartement Résidence de standing Hivernage is basically a really well-done apartment hotel tucked into one of Marrakech’s quieter upscale neighborhoods, and honestly, it’s exactly what you want when you’re tired of cramped hotel rooms but still want someone else handling the details.

The location on Rue Hafid Ibrahim is pretty perfect if you know the area. You’re right in Hivernage, which is sort of Marrakech’s answer to a modern district – it’s where locals go for nice dinners and where tourists stay when they want to be close to the action without being right in the middle of the medina chaos. The Menara Mall is maybe a ten-minute walk (great for grabbing supplies or escaping the heat), and you can actually get to Jemaa el-Fnaa in about fifteen minutes on foot, though I’d recommend taking a petit taxi back at night. The neighborhood has this nice residential feel during the day – you’ll hear birds more than car horns, which is rare for Marrakech.

What really works here is that the apartments feel like, well, actual apartments. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (not just for show), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The building itself has that clean, contemporary Moroccan style – think traditional elements but with modern fixtures that actually work. I appreciated little touches like decent water pressure and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a freight train. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street, but they’ll sort you out with options nearby. The 9.3 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything just works the way it should. If you’re planning to explore Marrakech but want a proper base to come back to (maybe cook breakfast, definitely spread out your shopping finds), this hits that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment independence.

  This is a beautiful apartment. Spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. A very well stocked kitchen with everything you would need even for a long stay. A really good supply of towels, blankets and pillows. Spacious balcony which was very quiet and peaceful. The pool area is lovely and we had it mostly to ourselves during our stay – very relaxing! The apartment is in a very quiet residential area but only a 15/20 minute walk to the Medina which allows you to explore a bit of the area. Loubna is a perfect host. Communication was excellent both before our arrival and during our stay, with all the relevant information, very helpful.

  We loved the size of the apartment, location and staff. 2 showers and 3 toilets were great for a family of 5. Lots of facilities and large fridge. Air con worked great! Loubna the host was very responsive and good with communication. We also felt very safe as the apartment complex had a doorman 24/7.

  Clean and spacious condo in a beautiful area of Marrakech. 2.5 bathrooms, well appointed kitchen. oversized balcony with nice views of the neighborhood. Located midway between train station and Jemaa al Fna. 8 min walk to Carrefour supermarket. swimming pool on the property.

  Enjoyed the stay very much. nice balcony, nice kitchen, nice bedrooms. 2.5 bathrooms. wonderful building in a safe neighborhood within walking to area sites. there's also a pool for relaxing.
