The name is completely accurate – and honestly, that’s rare in Marrakech where “spacious” often means you can spread your arms without hitting both walls. This apartment actually delivers on the promise. I mean, we’re talking about a proper living space here, not some cramped hotel room with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner.

The Résidence Préstigia complex sits in what I’d call the newer part of Marrakech, away from the medina chaos (which you’ll either love or hate, depending on your tolerance for constant negotiation). The mountain views are legit – on clear mornings, you can see the Atlas peaks while having your coffee by the pool. Speaking of the pool, it’s one of those moments where you realize you’re actually in Morocco, not just another generic resort. The water stays surprisingly cool even in summer, and there’s usually a decent breeze in the afternoons that makes lounging around totally doable.

What really sets this apart is how it feels like someone’s actual home rather than a rental property. The kitchen is properly equipped – I’m talking real knives, decent pots, a fridge that actually keeps things cold. The wifi works consistently (tested it during a work call, no drops), and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, which… well, if you’ve stayed in some Marrakech places, you know that’s not always guaranteed. The modern part of the description is spot-on too – clean lines, contemporary furniture, none of that faux-traditional stuff that looks impressive in photos but falls apart when you actually use it.

Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute taxi ride from Jemaa el-Fnaa, which honestly feels about right. Close enough to hit the souks when you want that authentic Marrakech experience, far enough away that you can actually sleep at night without street vendors starting their day at 5 AM outside your window. There’s a decent supermarket within walking distance (Carrefour), and the taxi drivers actually know where Résidence Préstigia is, which saves you the usual “turn left at the tree, no the other tree” conversations.

The 9.3 rating makes sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not perfect – the building entrance is a bit confusing the first time (look for the Jade entrance sign, not the main building number), and parking can get tight if there’s an event happening nearby. But these are minor things. The space, the views, the fact that everything just works… it adds up to something pretty special. I’d definitely book it again, especially if you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights and want somewhere that feels like a proper base rather than just a place to crash.

  L’appartement bénéficie d’un tres bon emplacement, proche de tous les restaurants et distractions que nous avions sur la wish list :). Il avait une magnifique vue sur le golf et la piscine. Propre et bien meublé.
