Inside, the apartment is spacious and modern, though what really matters is getting up to that terrace, especially around sunset when the whole city takes on this golden glow.

Here’s the thing about the rooftop – it’s not just Instagram-worthy (though it definitely is), it’s actually functional. There’s proper seating, some shade when you need it, and enough space to really spread out. I spent most mornings up there with coffee, watching the city wake up, and honestly, the sounds of Marrakech drifting up from below become this pleasant background hum rather than overwhelming noise. The apartment gets great light throughout the day (that “plein soleil” part isn’t kidding around), which makes the indoor spaces feel bright and airy. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to grab ingredients from the local markets – there’s a good one about five minutes away where the vendors actually remember you after a day or two. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, but the host knows the neighborhood well and gave me specific spots to try. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you consider that this isn’t trying to be a fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles; it’s just a really well-thought-out space where the star attraction – that terrace with panoramic views – delivers exactly what it promises.

  The apartment was wonderful. The roof terrace was amazing, a real highlight. Great location as right by the Majorelle Gardens and Yves Saint Laurent Rue. Taxis everywhere is you want to get to the old town and main square.
  
  What could be improved: Beds a little hard for me but that is personal choice.

  The apartment is modern and comfortable with all you need for self catering. The lovely private roof terrace was the nicest feature of this apartment. The host is very nice, helpful and with excellent communication. The location is very close to Le Jardin Majorelle (3 min walk) so you can take a taxi, carriage or walk to the medina as you wish and use the garden as your point of reference.
