You know what caught me off guard about this place? The silence. I mean, you’re technically still in Greater Marrakech, but once you turn off the main road toward Tassoultante and wind through the Argan Golf Resort gates, it’s like someone just hit the mute button on the city. Villa 451 sits right in the middle of Tony Jacklin’s course – yeah, that Tony Jacklin – and honestly, waking up to nothing but bird sounds and the occasional *thwack* of a golf ball was exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

The villa itself is one of those places that looks good in photos but actually delivers in person, which is rarer than you’d think. Four proper bedrooms, so nobody’s fighting over the good bathroom or getting stuck on a pullout couch. The kitchen’s actually functional – I’m talking full-sized fridge, decent counter space, the works. We ended up cooking way more than planned because, well, it was just nice being there. The terrace overlooks the fairway, and I spent way too many mornings out there with coffee watching golfers either nail their shots or… not. There’s something oddly relaxing about other people’s golf struggles when you’re not the one losing balls in the rough.

Here’s the thing about staying out in Chrifia – you’re about twenty minutes from the medina madness, but it feels like a different planet. The resort has this gate situation, so you’re not dealing with random foot traffic or street vendors (though honestly, I kind of missed the energy sometimes). Parking’s never an issue, which anyone who’s driven in Marrakech proper will appreciate. The staff at check-in were solid – spoke good English, knew the area, gave us the lowdown on which nearby restaurants were worth the drive. Actually, there’s this little place about ten minutes toward the main road that does incredible tagines, but I’m blanking on the name. Point is, you’re not stuck eating resort food if you don’t want to. The villa comes with that 9.2 rating for good reason – everything just works. AC keeps up with the heat, water pressure’s decent, WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes. I mean, these sound like basic things, but you’d be surprised how often places mess up the fundamentals. Plus, if you’re into golf or traveling with someone who is, being right on the course is pretty sweet. Even if you’re not, the views are legit, and there’s something about all that green space that just makes you breathe easier.

  Nous avons passé 5 jours incroyables dans cette villa, en groupe, et tout était parfait ! La maison est très propre, spacieuse, bien située et vraiment agréable à vivre. Un gros coup de cœur pour Hamid et la dame qui s’occupe du rangement : un personnel au top, discret, souriant, disponible – 10/10 !
  
  Franchement, rien à redire, tout est pensé pour passer un super séjour. Je recommande les yeux fermés et c’est certain, je reviendrai !

  The villa is specious and modern. It has 4 bedrooms with a bathroom each. All bathrooms have a hose for ablution except one. The kitchen is fully equipped. Air condition everywhere.
  
  What could be improved: The bed sheets and towels are old and not clean. There is no shampoo and shower gel. Water is spread all over the bathroom when taking a shower due blocked drain. Sinks are blocked. One toilet was continuously running water and not repaired rather close the bathroom.
