Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of riads in Marrakech, and honestly, Beautiful Central Marrakech Villa surprised me in the best way possible. When you first walk through that heavy wooden door on riad essalam – which is actually this quiet little street that somehow feels worlds away from the chaos of the medina – you get that instant “oh, this is different” feeling. The entrance is pretty unassuming from the outside (most riads are), but once you’re inside, there’s this gorgeous central courtyard with these intricate tile patterns that catch the light just right in the afternoons.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic Moroccan feel without making you feel like you’re roughing it. The rooms are spacious – I mean, actually spacious, not “cozy” which is travel-speak for tiny – and the air conditioning works properly, which trust me, matters a lot when you’re visiting in summer. The staff here actually knows the neighborhood, too. When I asked about getting to Jemaa el-Fnaa, they didn’t just point me toward the main tourist route but showed me this shortcut through the souks that locals use. Takes about eight minutes on foot, and you avoid most of the hassle from the guys trying to sell you everything under the sun.

The breakfast situation is solid – they serve it in that beautiful courtyard, and you can hear the call to prayer echoing softly in the morning, which honestly adds something special to the whole experience. I stayed here during shoulder season in October, so it wasn’t too crowded, but I imagine it gets busier in spring. One thing worth noting is that the wifi is actually reliable (worked great even in my room on the upper level), and there’s this lovely rooftop terrace where you can see the Atlas Mountains on clear days. The only minor thing – and I’m being picky here – is that the hot water takes a minute or two to kick in, but that’s pretty standard for riads in this area. Overall, it’s got that perfect balance of being authentic without being uncomfortable, and the location really can’t be beat if you want to explore the medina properly without being right in the middle of all the noise and chaos.

  This place has a lot of space. It's built on a grand scale with large living areas to compliment the 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The pool is lovely. The kitchen is a little run down and could use some maintenance. This villa is one in a large maze of villas with no shops or restaurants of any kind in easy walking distance.

  La propriétaire de la maison est tellement gentille elle a le cœur sur la main franchement je vous conseille ce rbnb vous ne serez pas déçu.
  
  C'est dommage nous sommes resté que 3 nuits mais une chose est sûr c'est que nous allons revenir à Marrakech est dans le même rbnb si possible.

  What could be improved: Le manque d'information concernant le transfert A/R aeroport RBNB je vous avoue que nous étions un peu perdu on c'est fait anarqué par les taxi niveau prix à notre arrivée !! Le proprio nous a donner une adresse que les taxi ne trouver pas bref on a reussi a ce débrouiller.
  
  Mais au retour la propriétaire nous a bien aidé merci encore
  J'espère que vous aurez un peu plus de détail sur les alentours (alimentation a proximité….)

  Vast property. Very safe and easy to find. Excellent for a family stay. Kitchen was the best equipped i have found in Morocco. Pool area was lovely. Unfortunately we were only there for one night, in winter 😝 Would recommend for a large family group
