The location is what hooked me first. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Majorelle Garden, which means you can hit those famous blue walls and cacti early before the tour groups descend around 10 AM. The apartment sits on Avenue Moulay Abdellah, and I mean, you’re in that sweet spot where Gueliz meets the more residential areas – close enough to walk to Carrefour Gueliz for groceries (trust me, you’ll want to stock that big fridge), but far enough from the main Boulevard Mohammed V that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise. The building itself is modern by Marrakech standards, with decent security and an elevator that actually works most of the time.

But here’s the thing that really sold me – that balcony and terrace situation is legit. The pool views aren’t just some tiny glimpse through palm fronds; you’re actually looking out over the residence’s pool area, which stays pretty calm during the day since most people are out exploring. I spent way too many evenings out there with mint tea, watching the Atlas Mountains catch the sunset light. The terrace is big enough that you could honestly have a small dinner party, and the apartment comes with outdoor furniture that’s actually comfortable, not just decorative. Inside, the space feels genuinely spacious – and when you’re used to cramped European hotel rooms, 122 square meters feels almost luxurious. The WiFi is solid throughout the apartment, the beds are comfortable, and there’s enough storage space that you can actually unpack and settle in.     A great base for visiting the Majarelle and the Medina – while being away from the hustle of the tourist sites. It was a very comfortable apartment. Excellent facilities. The shop downstairs was useful and has a very friendly owner. THere are supermarkets (Carrefour and Marjane) nearby and plenty of bakeries.Restaurants are a little further in Guerliz.

    What could be improved: At about 7 o'clock, the neighbourhood children played outside – they were very loud. We never managed to use the television. One of the showers had a broken hosepipe head. Hardly anyone used the pool.

    Great accommodation in nice luxury apartment with gate service.
    Everything was really nice the apartment is well equiped and our host was really nice.
    You probably need a car or take a taxi to go to the old town. There is a few nice restaurant around if you want to have some food.
