The Wi-Fi is reliable – worked great for video calls back home – and the air conditioning is a godsend during those scorching Marrakech afternoons. What I loved most was the balcony view; you get this perfect slice of Gueliz life happening below, with the Atlas Mountains peeking through in the distance on clear days.
But here’s the thing that really sets this place apart – you’re literally walking distance from everything that matters in Gueliz. The Carré Eden shopping center is maybe ten minutes on foot, and you’ve got cafés like Café du Livre and restaurants scattered all around. It’s that sweet spot where you can grab a proper espresso in the morning, then duck into a traditional hammam in the afternoon. The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here; it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, it’s just genuinely comfortable and well-run. Check-in was smooth (they actually met me at the building entrance, which was helpful since the residence entrance isn’t super obvious from the street), and honestly, the host was the kind of person who gives you actual local recommendations instead of just pointing you toward tourist traps. L'appartamento è molto comodo e spazioso, situato in un quartiere moderno ma centrale. Pulito e confortevole, le camere sono ampie e c'è anche un terrazzino. Amhed che si occupa di ricevere gli ospiti è molto disponibile ed efficiente. Lo stabile è sempre sorvegliato da un portiere.

The location of the apartment is excellent. There is very good Wi-Fi and Netflix in the apartment. The host welcomed us and was available during the entire stay.

What could be improved: I should preface this slight criticism by saying that this property is rather on par for properties in Morocco. Hosts typically go with minimal preparation: mostly clean but not meticulously, 1.5 rolls of TP for a family staying four nights, kitchen is minimally stocked for very basic cooking, etc..
