They pointed me toward this little café down the street that I never would’ve found otherwise, and when I mentioned wanting to explore beyond the usual suspects, they sketched out a route through some residential areas that felt more real than the typical tourist circuit. The rooms themselves have character – not that sterile hotel feel you get sometimes. There’s actually interesting art on the walls (local stuff, not generic prints), and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-mattress backache. The bathrooms are modern, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with Marrakech’s hard water.

You know what really sold me though? The rooftop space. It’s not massive or fancy, but in the evenings when the call to prayer echoes across the city and you can see the Atlas Mountains in the distance – well, that’s when you remember why you came to Morocco in the first place. The 8.4 rating makes sense when you consider it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, just a solid, comfortable base with some personality. Hivernage itself is interesting because it feels more European than traditional Moroccan, which some people love and others find too sanitized. Personally, I liked having that breathing room after spending days in the medina’s intensity. Parking was surprisingly easy (they have a small lot), and the neighborhood feels safe for evening walks – something I wasn’t sure about before arriving. The check-in process was smooth, no hassles with credit cards or deposits like I’ve experienced at some places in Morocco. If you’re looking for that Instagram-perfect riad experience, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want somewhere comfortable and authentic without the tourist markup, where you can actually relax and plan your next adventure, Bohemian Flat delivers on what it promises.

  Place de Parking sous l’immeuble. Le logement est grand et comporte 2 salles de bains. C’est calme. Il y a un gardien d’immeuble toute la journée. Le lave-linge très utile, il faut apporter quelques dosettes de lessive.
  
  What could be improved: Propreté des salles de bains moyenne. Il manque des torchons dans la cuisine. L’adresse du logement n’était pas précise. Le matelas de la suite parentale est très ferme.

  What could be improved: Mi sono visto costretto a non poter effettuare una cena di lavoro,( persone) di cui una era una donna di origine marocchina alla quale e’ stato negato l accesso per questioni di religione. Nel totale rispetto delle regole vigenti in un paese di religione mussulmana, questo limite in riferimento all immobile scelto per il soggiorno, sarebbe dovuto essere esplicitamente SCRITTO nell’ annuncio. Se così fosse stato la cena di lavoro sarebbe stata organizzata in un ristorante invece che in casa.
  Questo mi è’ costato la mia reputazione nel lavoro e ritengo che sia un motivo per lasciare una pessima recensione sull appartamento.
