This place actually surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible. The Agdal neighborhood is one of those parts of Marrakech that feels more like where actual Moroccans live rather than the tourist bubble of the medina, which I really appreciated. You’re surrounded by cafés where locals hang out, and there’s this authentic energy that’s hard to find in the more touristy spots.

The apartment itself is properly set up – not just some thrown-together rental situation. The pool area is honestly the star here, and I spent way more time lounging there than I planned. It’s not huge, but it’s clean and well-maintained, which is more than I can say for some of the bigger hotels I’ve stayed at in the city. The whole Résidence Coralia complex feels secure and quiet, which was perfect because I could actually sleep through the night without hearing scooters buzzing around at all hours like you get in Gueliz. The apartment has that lived-in comfort that hotels sometimes lack – proper kitchen setup, decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.

What really sold me on this place was the location flexibility. You’re about a 10-minute taxi ride from the medina when you want that classic Marrakech experience, but you can also walk to modern cafés and restaurants in Agdal when you need a break from tagines and want something different. I mean, sometimes you just want a proper coffee and a croissant, you know? The Boulevard du Moyen-Orient has decent street parking if you’re brave enough to drive in Marrakech (though honestly, I’d stick with taxis), and there’s a Carrefour nearby for groceries if you plan to use that kitchen. The daily rental setup works perfectly for people who want hotel-style flexibility without the hotel price tag – especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable and well-run. I’d definitely come back, particularly during the shoulder seasons when that pool really comes in handy and the Agdal area shows its best side.

  Appartement et résidence au top pour des vacances en famille, la propriétaire Mme Ghizlene et la femme de ménage Lala Karima (optionnel) sont très a l’écoute et très serviable en cas de besoin.
  Nous avons commandé à manger chez Lala Karima un couscous et un poulet au olives juste exquis, très très bon!
