The apartment itself is genuinely cozy (they weren’t lying about that part), and I mean that in a good way – not cramped, just intimate enough that you feel like you’re staying somewhere with character rather than another cookie-cutter room.

What really won me over was the location, honestly. You’re tucked away on a quiet street, which is gold in Marrakech because trust me, the main drags can get pretty intense with all the scooters and street vendors. But here’s the thing – you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The Menara Mall is maybe a 10-minute walk if you need some AC and familiar shopping, and getting to the medina from here is straightforward without the hassle of navigating those narrow hotel driveways in Gueliz proper. I actually walked to Jemaa el-Fnaa a few times, though I’d recommend a petit taxi in the evening because the route can be a bit sketchy after dark.

The apartment feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel, which some people love and others might find too casual. There’s this lived-in quality that I found really refreshing – the kind of place where you can actually spread out your stuff and not worry about messing up some pristine display. The kitchen situation is decent too, which matters because sometimes you just want to grab some groceries from Marjane and make coffee without paying hotel prices. Speaking of which, the neighborhood has some solid local spots for tagines if you venture out – there’s this little place about three blocks down that the taxi drivers kept recommending, and they were right. The only thing I’d mention is that the street can get a bit noisy during the day with construction (Marrakech is always building something), but it dies down completely at night. Overall, it’s one of those places that grows on you – starts good and just keeps getting better as you settle in.

  What could be improved: Muy poco decorado. No tiene ni unas lámparas en la habitación para leer, no meditas de noche. El piso no tiene ni un detalle. Está bastante lejos del centro para ir caminando y no siempre es fácil encontrar taxi. El propietario ni apareció y no nos dio ninguna instrucción para el check out. Tuvimos que pedir una toalla más ya que solo había una y ninguna ni para manos ni para el suelo del baño. El piso tiene lo básico.
