So I stayed at this duplex in Pearl Garden – honestly, when I first saw the name “Cosy Duplex, dans résidence avec piscine,” I wasn’t sure what to expect. The address sounds a bit intimidating if you’re not familiar with Marrakech, but once you actually get there on Boulevard Abdelkrim Al Khattabi, it’s pretty straightforward to find. The Pearl Garden residence is this gated complex that feels sort of like a little oasis tucked away from the main hustle, which – trust me – you’ll appreciate after spending a day in the medina.

The duplex itself lives up to that “cosy” promise, though in a good way, not in that cramped European sense. You’ve got actual space to spread out, and the layout works well if you’re traveling with family or friends since there’s real separation between the sleeping areas. What really sold me on the place was the pool situation – I mean, you know how brutal Marrakech can get in the afternoon, and having that private residence pool where you’re not fighting tourists for a chair? Game changer. The water’s actually clean too, which sadly isn’t always a given. I spent most of my late afternoons there with a book, and honestly, it felt more relaxing than some of the fancy resort pools I’ve used.

The location is interesting – you’re not in the thick of the tourist chaos, but you’re not stuck way out in the suburbs either. Getting to Jamaa el-Fnaa takes about 15 minutes by taxi (and drivers actually know where Pearl Garden is, which is half the battle). The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see locals going about their daily business, plus there’s a decent café just outside the residence gates where you can grab morning coffee without the tourist markup. Parking was never an issue, which – if you’re renting a car in Marrakech – you’ll understand is basically a miracle. The 7.5 rating seems about right to me; it’s solid without being spectacular, and there were a few minor things like the wifi being spotty in the upstairs bedroom and the kitchen could use some better equipment if you’re planning to cook. But honestly, for the price point and the fact that you get a whole duplex plus pool access, it’s a pretty good deal. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially if I was traveling with a group where everyone wanted their own space but still wanted to hang out together.

  El apartamento es muy mono y está dentro de una urbanización con mucha seguridad (portero y cámaras). El edificio parece nuevo.
  El apartamento tiene una terraza preciosa. La zona de salón y cocina es pequeña pero suficiente para el tiempo que pasamos allí. Tiene 2 baños completos, lo cual es cómodo ya que éramos 4 personas.

  The flat is very nice, in a very safe and peaceful in a nice area of Marrakech, very close walking, you can find a bank and small supermarket and by taxi 5minutes you can go to Marjane for a fresh food and also by taxi you can go to the old center, Medina, Jemaa el Fna, etc.
  The area of garden and pool is so cute.
  The owner is very kind, very easy to contact him.
  It was 1 week super and comfortable!!!
  If you are looking for a very relax and nice stay in Marrakech, this is the best place!!!
