What I really appreciated were the little touches that showed someone actually lives in this city and knows what travelers need – proper blackout curtains for those afternoon naps, a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the Carrefour nearby, and air conditioning that works without sounding like a jet engine.

Here’s the thing about this neighborhood that most tourists miss – you’re literally a stone’s throw from some of the best local spots that haven’t been completely overrun yet. There’s this little café about two blocks down that serves mint tea the way locals actually drink it, not the tourist version, and the evening walks along Mohamed VI are honestly magical when the sun starts setting. The building itself is quiet – I was worried about noise since it’s on a main boulevard, but the windows are solid and the neighbors seem to be mostly families rather than party crowds. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that “meet me at this random corner with a red umbrella” nonsense you sometimes get with rentals. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything just works the way it should, and that’s actually pretty rare. If you’re the type who wants to experience Marrakech without feeling like you’re camping or spending a fortune on those big resort hotels, this spot hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Beautiful apartment, very relaxing. Views over the golf course and on clear days to the mountains from the balcony. Well equipped kitchen. Great bathrooms with jacuzzi bath! Pool was lovely.
  
  What could be improved: Would be fine if you had a car – not far from central Marrakech at all. But the location was a bit tricky for taxi drivers to find. Despite sharing actual address & pinned locations it took a lot of communication to get them to pick up. Drop off from the central town seemed to be fine.

  What could be improved: The owner wanted to charge me 20% of payment some days before arrival, and pushed me. This was not in the “terms and conditions” when I booked, so I did not payed before arrival.
