This place sits in Résidence Nour 5, which is actually one of the newer residential complexes in the area, and you know what struck me first? How quiet it is once you’re inside, even though you’re literally walking distance from all the Hivernage action.

The studio itself is on the first floor of bloc C2 – easy enough to find once you know the building layout, though I’d recommend asking the concierge for directions on your first visit because these residential complexes can be a bit of a maze. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail in the setup. The kitchenette actually has everything you need (not just the bare minimum most places give you), and the bathroom feels properly modern. The 4-star rating isn’t just for show – there’s clearly been some thought put into the finishes and furniture. I mean, the bed was comfortable enough that I actually slept past my alarm, which rarely happens when I’m traveling.

Here’s what makes this spot work though – you’re in Hivernage, which means you can walk to Carré Eden shopping center in about ten minutes, and the hotel zone with all its restaurants and bars is right there. But unlike staying directly in one of those big resort hotels, you get this more residential feel. The neighborhood has that nice mix of locals and visitors, so you’ll hear Arabic and French being spoken as much as English. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in Marrakech will tell you is no small thing. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you consider the value – it’s not trying to be a luxury palace, but it delivers on what it promises. My only minor gripe would be that the WiFi could be stronger, but that’s pretty standard for this part of town. If you’re looking for something that feels more like a proper apartment than a hotel room, and you want to be in Hivernage without paying resort prices, this studio actually hits that sweet spot pretty well.

  Très bel appartement, bien situé dans Marrakech.
  L’appartement est très propre et très bien équipé.
  Le propriétaire est au top, il vous appelle dès la réservation pour savoir l’heure d’arrivée, vous laisser à disposition le badge pour le parking souterrain. C’est quelqu’un de très sympathique, disponible et à l’écoute.
  La sécurité est au top.
