Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Duplex Atlas Golf Resort Pool view Serenity & Calm,” I thought it was going to be one of those places that tries too hard. But driving up through the Palmeraie on Route de Fès, past all those palm groves that locals still use for dates, something clicked. This isn’t your typical Marrakech riad experience, and honestly? That’s exactly why it works.

The duplex setup is actually brilliant – you get this sense of having your own little house rather than just another hotel room. The pool view isn’t just marketing speak either; you’re literally looking out over water that reflects those Atlas Mountains in the distance (hence the name, I guess). What surprised me was how quiet it gets here, especially in the evenings. You’re far enough from the Medina madness – about 20 minutes by taxi, maybe 15 if your driver knows the back roads through the golf course area – but close enough that you don’t feel cut off from everything. The Route de Fès can get busy during the day with all the resort traffic, but honestly, once you’re on the property, you barely notice.

The staff here get it, you know? They’re not hovering but they’re around when you need them, and a few of them actually live in the area so they know things like which days the local souk in nearby Sidi Youssef Ben Ali is worth visiting (Thursdays, by the way). The pool area is where you’ll probably spend most of your time – it’s got that perfect temperature thing figured out, and the loungers are actually comfortable, not just Instagram-pretty. I mean, the whole place photographs well, but it’s also genuinely relaxing. Check-in was smooth, parking is easy and free (which isn’t always a given around here), and the duplex layout means you can spread out properly. The 9.5 rating makes sense when you realize this place delivers on that “serenity and calm” promise without being boring. It’s particularly great during the shoulder seasons – March through May, September through November – when the weather’s perfect and you can actually enjoy being outside all day. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re someone who wants to walk to restaurants and bars, you’ll need to plan on taxis or rental cars, but honestly, that’s part of what makes it peaceful.

  L’appartement est impeccable, bien agencé, décoré avec goût dans un style traditionnel marocain. Appartement bien équipé de tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour agréable.
  Les terrasses offrent des vues magnifiques, idéales pour profiter d’un repas dans le calme. La piscine est top, toujours bien surveillée par un professionnel.
  Un grand merci au propriétaire pour sa disponibilité, ses petites attentions, comme les délicieux gâteaux marocains, et son sens de l’accueil.
  Une adresse incontournable où je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

  the description of the appartment talks about sofa befs when actually there are no sofa beds: these are regular sofas in which the kids were invited to sleep

  Altas Golf Resort was a really excellent stay for us in Morocco .. The place is a real oasis .. surrounded by trees .. and you can hear the chorping of birds in the morning … my son liked the kids playground so much … I would whole heartedly recommend Atlas Golf Resort to anyone .. esp families .. for a memorable stay in Marrakesh…

  Great flat in very clean conditions, beautiful view on pool, fast wifi, calm neighborhood. The facilities in the appartement were good and the owner was always available whenever we had doubts.

  It is located ~5km outside of center of Marrakesh. Very peaceful and relaxing place where you can chill out after strolling in the souk. Swimming pool, garden, children play ground, basketball court- all available. there is also a big grocery store near by. Great contact with Med- the owner, great apartment full equiped including a washing machine, A/C and even netflix that my kods appreciated after being on a tv detox for few days. Strongly recommend.

  The apartment was beautiful, and very clean. it had all the utensils a family can need, and brand new bedsheets, and pillows and covers. I was really happy as I was also given free Netflix and TV in every room, also got a cat that came to apartment just as a bonus if you like the cat, overall, I strongly recommend this apartment for anyone who is looking to have privacy and an amazing time in Morocco.
