You’d be surprised how many places in the medina area struggle with that.

The location in Gueliz is honestly perfect if you want to experience Marrakech without the constant sensory overload. You can walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa when you want that authentic chaos, but you can also just stroll down to Café de France on a Tuesday afternoon and people-watch with locals. The residential setting means it’s genuinely quiet at night – no street vendors calling out, no scooters buzzing past your window at all hours. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which… well, if you’ve ever tried to navigate a car through the medina, you’ll understand why that’s worth mentioning. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the building entrance can be a bit tricky to find the first time – it’s set back from the main road and the signage isn’t huge – but once you figure it out, it’s actually kind of nice having that extra layer of privacy. The whole place just feels thoughtfully put together, like someone actually stayed there themselves and tweaked all the little things that matter when you’re trying to unwind after a day of haggling in the souks or climbing up to the Majorelle Gardens.

  Everything was nice. The location is perfect close to many shops and restaurants. Apartment is modern and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Host speaks French ( which I don't) but we used Google translate, so it was ok.
