Eden Andalou Aquapark & Spa Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Eden Andalou? The drive out there, honestly. It’s about twenty minutes from Marrakech’s medina along the Amizmiz road, and I was wondering if I’d made a mistake booking so far out. But then you pull up to this place and – wow. The grounds are absolutely massive, like they’ve carved out their own little kingdom in the foothills. The Atlas Mountains just loom there in the background, especially stunning at sunset when they turn all pink and purple. I mean, you’re trading the chaos of Jemaa el-Fnaa for this incredibly peaceful setting, and after a day of navigating the souks, that quiet feels like pure luxury.
The aquapark is legitimately impressive – not some afterthought like at a lot of hotels. There are proper water slides that my kids (and okay, I) went down about fifty times, plus this lazy river that actually works. The pools are heated year-round, which is clutch if you’re visiting in winter when Marrakech can get surprisingly chilly. What I really appreciated was how spread out everything is; even when the place is busy, you don’t feel crowded. The spa is tucked away in its own corner with traditional hammams that smell like eucalyptus and argan oil – very authentic, not touristy at all. Service is genuinely warm too, though you’ll want to brush up on your French since not all staff speak fluent English.
Here’s the thing about staying out here – you’re committed to either hanging at the resort or planning your Marrakech trips carefully. The hotel runs a shuttle service to the city center, but it’s not constant, so you can’t just pop in and out. That said, the location grows on you. There’s something magical about having morning coffee on your balcony with those mountain views and actual bird sounds instead of motorbike engines. The restaurants on-site are solid (the tagines are legit, not hotel-generic), and there’s a little market nearby in Amizmiz if you want to see how locals actually shop. Parking is free and easy, which anyone who’s driven in Marrakech will appreciate. My only real gripe? The WiFi gets spotty in some rooms, and the evening entertainment can be a bit loud if you’re trying to put kids to bed early. But honestly, for families or anyone wanting that five-star resort experience without the Marrakech hustle, this place delivers. Just plan to stay put and enjoy it.

Good – Lesleyanne from United Kingdom – 10 July 2025 (7/10)
Great rooms
Pool areas big enough for all
Dining area ran well
Staff were all attentive – by far the best thing about the hotel.
What could be improved: Alcohol choices were limited and cheapAmazing – Francisco from United Kingdom – 9 July 2025 (9/10)
Serviço, Limpeza, animação e comida. Taufik from the breakfast and Lunch service in the international restaurant was amazing. The animation team was great.
Family oriented, child friendly resort with lots to do! – Lay from Ireland – 8 July 2025 (9/10)
Staff were very accommodating, it's very child friendly so my 1 y/o who turned 2 during the trip was well looked after. All meals and the animation team were very very good! If your looking to explore the city etc please check in with Excel travels at the resort as prices may vary and you'll more than likely find a deal with them. ATMs on site too so no need to get ripped off at the exchanges at the airport.
Special shout out to Taoufik as well, thank you for all your help!Family fun – Krissy from Australia – 7 July 2025 (8/10)
Great pool and slides and buffet with everything
Wonderful family holiday – Michelle from Gibraltar – 4 July 2025 (9/10)
The hotel was beautiful with excellent facilities and the staff were so helpful and cheerful. The waterpark attached to it was great for all ages of children (and the grown ups) with little to no queues for the rides. The food was delicious and plentyful.
Stay was amazing 10/10 and service too – Rohit from Ireland – 20 June 2025 (9/10)
Restaurant and services
What could be improved: Aquapark not safe for adults and kids me and my son got minor skin cut from water slides and no lights in water slides that is completely dangerous because we don’t know direction of slides . My suggestion is some in board member should visit any water theme park in ireland or in Wonderla in indiaNot bad but not 5* – I’ve stayed in better hotels – Jake from United Kingdom – 16 June 2025 (7/10)
Staff amazing and friendly. Great service and entertainment team. Good kids club. Decent drink selection included for All inclusive. Air conditioning. Free shuttle. Karaoke.
What could be improved: Rainbow slide on the Aquapark not safe for adults and I got injured as did lots of others. No ice creams throughout day and charging £5 an ice cream to buy and £4 for a bag of crisps which is disgusting for Morocco (cost me £5 to buy 5 bigger and better ice creams in Marrakech). Hotel shop also has no nice items I preferred the one in Aqua Mirage. Communication from hotel before I checked in was and also poor and I was overcharged although the issue was with booking.com which is not the hotels fault. Food was OK – Not 5* very little English options throughout my week there and the same all the time no decent breakfast options and Lunch was the best meal. This is not a 5* buffet and the multiple options they claim to offer is usually vegetable based and full of foods English don’t really eat (The French and others seemed to like it but the food was often just warm at best and there were flies everywhere). No Balcony in rooms for over 4 guests.Superb – Ricky from United Kingdom – 5 June 2025 (9/10)
