EDEN KAM Riad Overview
You know what struck me first about EDEN KAM Riad? The silence. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of the Kasbah – practically next to the Saadian Tombs if you know where those are – but the moment you step through that heavy wooden door on derb el baghala, it’s like someone hit the mute button on Marrakech. The whole riad thing isn’t just marketing speak here; they actually nailed that traditional courtyard sanctuary vibe that makes you forget you’re in one of Morocco’s busiest tourist zones.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in the medina rather than just visiting it. You’re a five-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa (though honestly, who’s counting when you’re wandering those narrow alleys), and the Kasbah area has this grittier, more authentic feel compared to the main souks. The staff here – they really know their stuff about getting around the medina’s maze-like streets, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to find your way back after a long day of exploring. I actually appreciated that they didn’t over-explain everything; they’d give you just enough local insight without making you feel like you’re on a guided tour.
What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail in the rooms and common areas. The traditional tilework isn’t just decorative – it actually keeps things cool during those brutal Marrakech afternoons. The rooftop terrace (and there’s always a rooftop terrace, but this one’s actually worth spending time on) gives you these glimpses of the Atlas Mountains on clear days, plus you can hear the call to prayer echoing from different mosques across the city. It’s one of those sounds that either enchants you or drives you crazy – depends on your travel style, I guess. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be a luxury palace, but everything works, the beds are comfortable, and the whole experience feels genuinely Moroccan without being touristy. The only minor thing – parking is basically non-existent in this part of the medina, so if you’re driving, you’ll need to sort that out separately. But honestly, in this location, you won’t need a car anyway.

Reviews of EDEN KAM Riad
Parfait séjour – Paule from France – 29 May 2025 (10/10)
Le calme, la situation du Riad , la proximité de la Médina , la gentillesse et discrétion de Ouafa.
La disponibilité de Marianne, qui est une note parfaite .
Nous y reviendrons, probablement .
What could be improved: RasI need it a place to stay. – Obando from United States – 8 May 2025 (5/10)
Ouafah was very kind.
What could be improved: The place has a lot of items that need repair. There is no hot water on the second floor or pressure in the shower. The place needs some gentle hand to help it shine. We had a perfect week in the riad and felt very comfortable. – Julie from Italy – 7 March 2025 (10/10)
It is a beautiful riad, in a perfect central spot, easy to walk to the big market in the Medina and felt very safe. Our breakfast was made for us every morning by the lovely Ouafa.
There were 4 of us and we each had our own bedroom with ensuite. Plenty of room to relax in.Good – Pamela from United Kingdom – 15 February 2025 (7/10)
The property is a wonderful building.
Good layout with each bedroom having its own bathroom
What could be improved: The lady who arrives at 0900 each day, leaves at 1700, she makes breakfast, then stays all day sitting at the table in the kitchen( the kitchen / living room is open plan) this we found quite intimidating, on one occassion we returned early to find her asleep upstairs on the sun terrace.Superb – Sandrine from Netherlands – 2 January 2025 (9/10)
Perfect location. Roms are big. Was a bit chilly during heater’s warm-up but not a big issue !

L’accueil.
Terrasse agreable
What could be improved: Literie très dure mais globalement nous sommes très contents de notre séjour.Very good – Nele from Estonia – 30 April 2024 (8/10)
The riad itself is nicely designed and looks good and is clean. The location is close to markets and Bahia Palace
What could be improved: The location and the name were different than in booking confirmation. It was very hard to find it. The host spoke only Arabic and the owner only French (via Booking app). The owner did not seem very friendly.
We wanted to have take away breakfast because we left early morning but this was not provided, although we asked it on previous day noon already.
There were no hair dryer in the room. No bottle water provided.
