The whole Golf City development can feel a bit artificial from the outside, but honestly? This place surprised me. The four-bedroom setup is actually perfect if you’re traveling with family or a group of friends who want space to spread out without feeling like you’re staying in separate hotel rooms across town.

What really got me was how quiet it is here, especially in the evenings. You’re far enough from the Marrakech medina chaos (about 20 minutes by car) that you can actually hear yourself think, but close enough that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. The golf course views are legit – I mean, I’m not a huge golf person, but there’s something nice about looking out at all that green space instead of concrete. The villa itself feels more lived-in than hotel-sterile, which I appreciated. The bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into each other, and the kitchen is actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the Carrefour nearby and cook a meal instead of eating out every night.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before I booked: the air conditioning works well (crucial in summer), parking is never an issue, and the internet is solid enough for video calls if you need to check in with work. The whole Prestigia complex has security, so you don’t have to worry about your stuff, and honestly, it’s kind of nice to have that peace of mind. The pool area gets busy on weekends with other villa guests, but during the week it’s pretty much yours. One thing though – you’ll definitely want a car here. Yes, you can get taxis, but having your own wheels makes everything easier, especially if you want to explore beyond the typical tourist spots. The drive into Gueliz or the medina is straightforward once you get used to Marrakech traffic (which, let’s be real, takes some getting used to). I’d say this place hits that sweet spot between luxury and practicality – you get the space and amenities without the stuffiness of a big resort, and the 8.5 rating makes sense when you consider you’re getting genuine value for what you pay.

  Villa 26 was home away from home. I love the hospitality by the host and how quick Nadia was in responding to enquiries even at late hours. The breakfast was sumptuous, the staff members, siam, and her colleagues carried out their professional responsibility to the highest standard. My friends and we love every day of our stay. Right from the breakfast to the swimming pool, gym, and snooker games. If I found myself in marrakech again, I will definitely be staying at this Villa.

  Die Lage war ansprechend und sparsam in Bezug auf Taxikosten.
  
  What could be improved: Die Unterkunft war nicht sauber. Es hat in der gesamten Unterkunft nach Abfluss gestunken und die Badezimmer waren voller Schimmel. Der Inhaber hat mehrmals Handwerker geschickt um die Probleme zu beseitigen, jedoch erfolgslos. Die Abflüsse in der Dusche waren verstopft und man musste so gehen immer Knöcheltief im dreckigen Wasser duschen. Die Türe gingen nicht ganz zu. Die Fenster waren undicht. Die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert. Viele Fliege auf dem Teich hinter der Villa und die Putzkräfte ließen Türe/Fenster offen, sodass Nachts in der gesamten Villa ca 1 Millionen Fliegen in der Unterkunft waren. Der Pool war abgedeckt und nicht nutzbar.(Laut Werbung ein Pool inbegriffen und abgerechnet) Kleidung wurde aus den Schränken entwendet und im Nachgang wurde nur gesagt „Vielleicht haben Sie es auf dem Weg verloren“. Insgesamt ist die Villa eine 3/10. Sehr vieles ist veraltet und man muss stetig den Inhaber kontaktieren, weil wiedermals etwas kaputt ist oder nicht funktioniert, wie es tun sollte.
  Weder Booking.com, noch der Inhaber wollte uns helfen.

  The Villa is lovely although our taxi booked through booking.com didn't know where it was and kept getting lost so we arrived 30 min later. Security very good that much so we had issues getting in with the taxi man. Villa is beautiful at a glance, living area is stunning but rest of villa very worn, tired or broken. However still lovely, taxi required to most places.
  
  What could be improved: Arrived to wifi not working, so no phones, tele, sound system took 6 hours to fix and as isolated location couldn't arrange taxis, maid couldn't understand us so took while to resolve, property very tired in some places, one shower not working, advertised with hot tub but this was disconnected and didn't work, woke up to the live in maid both mornings asleep on the sofa in main villa so felt restricted, woken in middle of the night to a man downstairs in the villa, speaking so loud it woke us, everyone petrified, turns out it was the property manager and maid together in the kitchen at 2am!!! Owner of property very good at communicating and couldn't apologize enough, however being in a different country did not make this easy to resolve or put at ease. Maid and property manager then also tried to ask for more money from us, against property owners direction.
  Could be fantastic if a little TLC, a welcome book of info, working wifi and other advertised facilities but otherwise very nice.
