Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Eva cosy” with all those details crammed in, I thought this might be one of those places that tries too hard. But you know what? Sometimes the awkward names hide the real gems, and this little apartment in Domaine Noria Isli actually surprised me.

The location is pretty clever if you think about it. Sure, everyone talks about staying right in the medina, but hear me out – being ten minutes from the airport is actually brilliant when you’re dealing with those early morning flights to Europe, and the Isli area has this weird charm where it feels residential but you’re not completely cut off from everything. The garden they mention isn’t just marketing fluff either; there’s actually this nice outdoor space where you can sit with your morning coffee without the chaos of central Marrakech hitting you immediately. I mean, don’t get me wrong – you’ll want to get into the city center for the real action, but having a quiet base is honestly refreshing after a day of navigating the souks.

What really works here is that Eva (I’m assuming that’s the owner) seems to get what travelers actually need. The air conditioning isn’t just there for show – it actually works, which trust me, matters more than you think when you’re trying to sleep through a Marrakech summer night. The wifi is solid enough for video calls, though you know how it is with Moroccan internet – sometimes it’s lightning fast, sometimes you’re staring at loading screens. The apartment itself has this lived-in feeling that’s way better than those sterile hotel rooms; there’s actual character in the space, with local touches that feel authentic rather than staged for Instagram.

The 8.1 rating makes sense to me because this place delivers on the basics really well, but it’s not trying to be something it’s not. You’re getting a comfortable, clean space with an owner who seems to care about the details – fresh towels, decent water pressure, and the kind of local recommendations that actually matter. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet at night, which is either perfect or boring depending on what you’re after. If you want to stumble home from late-night tagines in Jemaa el-Fnaa, you’ll need a taxi, but if you’re the type who likes to retreat and recharge between adventures, this works perfectly. Plus, and this is something I only figured out after staying there – the proximity to the airport road means you’re actually well-connected to get around the city without getting stuck in the narrow medina streets with luggage.

  What could be improved: No tiene recepción
  Si en el apartamento tienes algún problema no te solucionan nada
  (Como q la bombona de gas este vacía, q en booking te ponga q dispones de todo y en la realidad no tienes nada tostador , cafetera etc
  Y reclamas te dice q es un error etc
  La distancia es mucha, al centro de la madina( pone 6km pero os aseguro q en dinero es mucho)
  Reservar en otro sitio

  Nice area. Looks quite new. Clean. Parking. Pool area. Lovely Italian restaurant on complex and coffee shop/bakery.
  
  What could be improved: Kitchen didn’t many facilities. No toaster as stated. Only 1 mug.
  Things that would have come in handy..a chopping board. Washing up liquid. Ironing board. Hair dryer.
  Broken shelf in bedroom and broken drawer in bathroom.
