The location is actually pretty clever. You’re about fifteen minutes from the main tourist drag (Jemaa el-Fnaa and all that), but you’re in this quiet residential pocket where you can actually hear yourself think. I mean, don’t get me wrong – you’ll still catch the call to prayer echoing across the neighborhood, and there’s something oddly comforting about that rhythm. The villa itself sits in this development that feels surprisingly modern for Morocco, with proper roads (your taxi driver won’t get lost, trust me) and what looks like decent security. Villa 14 has this contemporary Moroccan thing going on – think clean lines but with those gorgeous traditional tiles and archways that remind you where you are.

What really got me was the attention to detail that you don’t usually see at this price point. The pool area isn’t huge, but it’s perfectly sized for a family or group of friends, and they’ve got these lounge areas set up so you can actually escape the sun when it gets brutal around 2 PM. The interior has this airy feel – high ceilings, lots of natural light, and honestly, the air conditioning works better than half the places I’ve stayed in Europe. You know what surprised me most? The kitchen is actually functional. Like, you could cook a proper meal if you wanted to, though with Marrakech’s incredible food scene, why would you?

The staff – well, they’re not hovering around like at a resort, but when you need something, they’re responsive. Check-in was smooth, and they gave me the kind of local tips that actually matter (like which entrance to use at the souks to avoid the most aggressive vendors). The Wi-Fi works throughout the property, which is more than I can say for some five-star places I’ve been to.

One small thing – if you’re the type who needs to walk everywhere, this might not be your spot. You’ll want to budget for taxis or arrange transfers, but honestly, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. After a day of navigating the medina’s beautiful chaos, coming back to this peaceful bubble feels like a reward. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Marrakech, but it nails that sweet spot of comfort, style, and value that’s getting harder to find these days.

  We had a very nice welcome by Amal and her daughter. Throughout our stay they were always willing to help and advice.
  
  We liked the spaciousness and the cleanliness. The kitchen was full of appliances and there are enough bathrooms. The garden is nice with the terrace and we enjoyed a barbecue together.
  
  What could be improved: The swimming pool is a bit cold, but to be fair we visited in April/May so not really the hottest time.

  La propriétaire Amal est une dame avec un grand cœur, nous étions 2 amies dans le cadre du travail, elle nous a tellement facilité ce séjour, elle est à l’écoute et aux petits soins de ses hôtes, je n’avais encore jamais rencontré de propriétaires aussi humain qu’elle. Je recommande ce logement les yeux fermés. Et j’y retournerai avec mes enfants cette fois ci. Le logement est plus que conforme aux photos 🫶🏻 c’était génial

  Villa très très agréable, bien équipée, calme, très spacieuse, très bien accueilli par Amal avec thé et petit gâteux, propreté irréprochable, sécuritée, Amal a été à notre petit soin, nous a guidé et proposé une multitude d’activités, resto, extra etc…
  Je recommande vivement les yeux fermés. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

  Un lieu très agréable et au calme avec une propriétaire charmante qui nous a accueilli avec le sourire et un thé de bienvenu. Elle nous a même fait deux tajines pour le dimanche midi. Vraiment rien à redire, à part d y aller!

  مكان جد نظيف و مناسب للعائلات . فيه جميع وسائل الراحة . المطبغ مجهز باغلب الاواني واجهزة المطبخ . صاحبة البيت جد مهذبة وتتعامل بمسؤولية .طلبنا منها بعض الاغراض زيادة استجابت لنا في الحين. استقبلنا بالشاي والحلويات المغربية . شبكة الواي فاي قوية.المسبح نظيف وعلى طول التصفية شغالة . المنطقة هادئة وما فيها ضجيج ولو انها قريبة من وسط المدينة
