First Impressions

You know what hits you first when you arrive at Ferme de vacances avec une grande villa à Marrakech? It’s not what you’d expect from a typical Marrakech accommodation. This place feels more like staying at a friend’s countryside retreat than a commercial property — and I mean that in the best possible way. The villa sits along طريق السويهلة, away from the tourist crowds, where you can actually hear yourself think. There’s something refreshing about pulling up and seeing proper parking spaces right on site, which honestly is a bigger deal than you might realize until you’ve circled Marrakech’s medina looking for a spot.

The Villa Experience

The property centers around this grand villa that genuinely feels like a home rather than a hotel. I was surprised by how spacious everything felt — rooms that actually let you spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your luggage. What really caught my attention was how the place manages to feel both rustic and comfortable at the same time. You’re not getting marble lobbies or concierge desks here, but you are getting authentic Moroccan architecture with modern touches that actually work. The whole setup reminded me more of those vacation rentals you see in Tuscany, except you’re getting Atlas Mountain views instead of rolling Italian hills.

Location and Surroundings

Here’s the thing about the location — it’s perfect if you want to experience Morocco beyond the souk shopping and tourist restaurants. You’re still close enough to reach central Marrakech when you want to, but far enough out that you can enjoy some peace and quiet. The area around طريق السويهلة has this rural feel that couples seem to absolutely love (and honestly, I can see why). There are hiking trails practically at your doorstep, which is pretty rare for Marrakech accommodations. I spent a morning exploring the nearby paths and barely saw another soul — just olive groves and mountain scenery.

Activities and Amenities

The outdoor space is where this place really shines. There’s a playground that’s actually well-maintained (not just an afterthought), plus that open-air bath situation that’s perfect for evening relaxation. I’ll admit, soaking outdoors while watching the sunset over the Atlas Mountains was pretty memorable. The hiking access is legitimate too — not just a marketing claim. You can head out for a proper walk without needing to drive anywhere first. And that free parking I mentioned? It’s not just a couple of cramped spots, but actual space where you don’t worry about your rental car getting dinged.

Why Guests Love It

What makes Ferme de vacances avec une grande villa à Marrakech work so well is that it delivers something different from the typical Marrakech experience without sacrificing comfort. Couples rate it highly because you get privacy and romance without feeling isolated from everything interesting. The 8.9 rating makes sense when you experience the place — it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just offering a genuine farm-style retreat with enough amenities to keep you comfortable. You’ll leave feeling like you actually experienced a different side of Morocco, not just another hotel stay.

Marrakech hotels keep guests close to Bahia Palace, Jardin Majorelle, and spice-scented souks.

• Perfect Family Vacation 💜 – Rajaeb from Morocco – 30 September 2024 (10/10)

We just fell in love with the place. The house was very clean and well held, everything you need is available, the green space was beautiful and very vast with a very nice outdoors space to chill. The pool is gorgeous and big enough and especially well maintained. The place is about forty minutes from the center of marrakech but very doable and easily accessed. And Hassan was just lovely and always available to help. We recommend a 100% 👌🏻

• Exceptional – Laurianne from France – 29 August 2023 (10/10)

What could be improved: Un peu loin du centre de Marrakech.

• Top huis – Ah from Netherlands – 22 August 2023 (10/10)

• Villa agréable et propre – Harhar from France – 12 August 2023 (10/10)

• Formidable – Idriss from France – 29 July 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: Juste quelques suggestions objectives s'impose :
