You know what hits you first at Jardin Sakina? The silence. I mean, you’re technically still in Marrakech, but once you turn into douar Lakhmilate, it’s like someone turned down the volume on the entire city. This place sits in one of those residential areas where actual Marrakchis live – not the tourist maze of the medina, but not some sterile hotel district either. It’s authentic in a way that actually feels natural, not staged.

The chambre d’hôtes setup works perfectly here because the hosts – honestly, they treat you more like a distant relative than a paying guest. I stayed there during shoulder season (April, if you’re wondering), and the owner walked me through their garden while explaining which herbs they use for the morning tea. The rooms have this understated elegance that feels more like staying at a stylish friend’s house than a hotel. Everything’s clean and thoughtfully arranged, but not in that over-designed way where you’re afraid to touch anything. The bathroom actually has good water pressure, which – let’s be real – isn’t always a given in Morocco, even at nice places.

What I really appreciated was how they handle the practical stuff without making a big deal about it. Parking’s not an issue since you’re outside the medina chaos, and they helped arrange a taxi for my early morning flight without the usual hassle. The location means you get the best of both worlds – you can walk to the main roads where the petit taxis run regularly, but you’re sleeping somewhere quiet enough that you won’t hear scooters honking at 6 AM. The breakfast deserves a mention too; they serve it in the garden when weather permits, and it’s this perfect mix of Moroccan and continental options that doesn’t feel like they’re trying too hard to please everyone. Just good bread, local honey, fresh fruit, and coffee that’s actually strong enough to wake you up. I’d definitely go back, and I’m pretty picky about these things.

  Nous avons profondément apprécié la paisibilité du jardin, bercés par la présence discrète des animaux de compagnie, la douceur des oliviers et le calme enveloppant du lieu.
  Tout est cuisiné avec amour, à partir des trésors du jardin : une cuisine saine, savoureuse, et pleinement BIO.
  Sabrina et Bruno sont des hôtes rares, sincères, attentifs, et d’une grande générosité. Leur accueil chaleureux nous a permis de nous sentir comme chez nous.
  Un endroit où le temps suspend son cours, propice au repos, à la reconnexion et à la simplicité.

  Au-delà de l'accueil merveilleux dans ce magnifique havre de paix de grande qualité, c'est la connexion humaine, qui nous a profondément touchés chez Sabrina et Bruno. Nous aurions sincèrement aimé prolonger le séjour et avons déjà prévu de revenir. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, le lieu est encore plus magique en vrai qu'en photo ! Pour reprendre une citation : la simplicité est la sofistication suprême, il est rare d'être dans un lieu si Design avec des personnes si intéressantes et attentionnées.

• Un vrai paradis à 35minutes de Marrakech – Aude from France – 26 March 2025 (10/10)

  Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Sabrina et Bruno. C'est difficile de savoir par où commencer tant la liste est longue:
  Le lieu est un petit paradis, on y dort extrêmement bien, les activités qu'ils proposent sont incroyables (la séance de bols chantants avec Bruno est à faire absolument), le massage drainant était exceptionnel aussi. La cuisine de Sabrina faite avec le cœur (et accessoirement des ingrédients du jardin) est délicieuse. C'était magique de voir les ânes tondrent le jardin, mais aussi toutes les variétés de fleurs, les oiseaux…
  Les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût, le lit extrêmement confortable. Nous ressortons des deux jours avec un sentiment de plénitude, de joie et qu'une envie, celle d'y retourner.
  Probablement le meilleur endroit pour se resourcer 3 jours après la frénésie de Marrakech. Merci encore pour tout

  TODO! Desde que te reciben hasta que te vas, son pura magia y cordialidad. La cocina extraordinaria,la
  decoración fantástica, muy contemporánea, la cama y las sábanas maravillosas. Lo mejor la chimenea en la habitación! El jardín,piscina y exteriores muy bonitos. Pregunta por sus tratamientos de spa y masajes con cuencos tibetanos, te transportan al paraíso!!!

  J’ai aimé les massages avec les bols tibétains, nous avions besoin de nous recentrer et avions choisi Jardin Sakina sur les recommandations d’une amie et ce fut une révélation, les conseils de Bruno et sa vision de la vie sont incroyable d’authenticité, Sabrina nous a préparé des plats exquis et sain. Nous avons dormi comme jamais et le confort de la literie est magnifique. Et ce que nous avons apprécié c’est leur simplicité et réelle bienveillance dans un cadre d’une élégance que nous avons rarement vu. C’était plus que bien, et nous espérons revenir très vite étant à quelques heures de voitures, nous ferons des escapades régulières pour récupérer de nos quotidiens stressant. Et j’allais oublier la piscine chauffée qui nous a permis la baignade en cette saison, juste top.

  We are well travelled and have stayed in some amazing places around the world, but when we arrived in Jardin Sakina we were completely blown away by how beautiful, serene, spacious and tranquil it was with fantastic facilities. A true paradise in Marrakech only 25 mins from the Medina. The pictures do not do this place justice.
  
  The lovely French owners are interior designers, and it really shows. They have impeccable taste and style and have spent a lot of time and care creating something very special, from the salt-water pool, comfortable sunbeds, hammam and sauna, to the high-end furnishings in the room and dining areas. We particularly loved their authentic Moroccan Berber tent near the pool, and the bed in our room, dressed in luxurious cotton, was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in.
  
  We only went into the Medina one day as we ultimately went there to relax, so we had most of our meals at Jardin Sakina. The food and presentation were exceptional. Sabrina is a very talented cook; her repertoire is extensive, and they use fresh ingredients from their garden as well as other locally sourced produce. Everything was delicious!
  
  As we are animal lovers, we loved sharing the space with their animals – they have dogs, donkeys, peacocks, chickens and a cat, but they are very respectful of the guests wishes, so if you prefer the animals to be kept away, they keep them on the other side of the house away from guest areas.
  
  It is a family run business and Sabrina, Bruno along with Nino and Lola are the most kind and considerate hosts, they made us feel very welcome. We loved exchanging life-stories with them, and we look forward to returning soon.
  
  If you want a true oasis to relax, then this is the place to be.
  
  Tips: Use Sabrina and Bruno’s recommendations for taxi transfers and where to eat /and not eat in the Medina to avoid any issues. Make the most of their facilities and book a massage, or a sound healing session to really switch off.

  J’ai eu une expérience exceptionnelle pour mes bols tibétains !
  Le professionnalisme et le savoir-faire de Bruno était évidents, et il a pris le temps de m’expliquer les spécificités de chaque bol, en m’aidant à choisir ceux qui correspondraient le mieux à mes attentes.
  
  La séance elle-même a été incroyablement apaisante et bienfaisante. Les vibrations et les sons des bols ont eu un effet immédiat, me plongeant dans un état de relaxation profonde. J’ai ressenti une sensation de bien-être et de calme qui a duré bien au-delà de la séance.
  
  Je recommande vivement cette séance à tous ceux qui recherchent une expérience authentique et des soins de qualité avec des bols tibétains. Un grand merci pour cette expérience unique qui m’a permis de me reconnecter avec moi-même et de trouver une paix intérieure durable !
