The third floor is perfect – high enough to catch some breeze (trust me, you’ll appreciate this during the warmer months), but you won’t be huffing and puffing if the elevator’s acting up, which… well, this is Morocco, so it happens. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night. The building seems to attract a good mix of travelers who actually want to sleep, not party until 3 AM.

The apartment itself feels more spacious than the photos suggest – there’s this nice flow between rooms that makes it work whether you’re staying solo or with a couple people. The kitchen is actually functional, not just decorative like some places, and I loved having the option to grab fresh ingredients from the local souks and cook something simple. The bathroom renovation is spot-on too; good water pressure and the shower actually gets hot quickly, which anyone who’s stayed in older Marrakech accommodations will tell you is not a given. I did notice the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty during peak evening hours when everyone’s streaming, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for the area. The building’s management seems on top of things – they were quick to respond when I had a question about the air conditioning remote, and check-in was smooth even though I arrived later than expected due to a delayed flight. For a 4-star spot with a 9 rating, it delivers on both comfort and that authentic Marrakech experience without the chaos.
