Kenzi Menara Palace & Resort Overview
Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of Marrakech hotels, and the Kenzi Menara Palace honestly surprised me in ways I wasn’t expecting. First off, it’s tucked away in the Agdal district on Avenue Mohamed VI – which means you’re about a 10-minute taxi ride from the medina madness, but far enough out that you actually get some peace and quiet. The location is sort of perfect if you want to experience the real Marrakech without dealing with constant carpet sellers outside your door.
What struck me right away was how this place manages to feel genuinely Moroccan without going overboard with the tourist-trap aesthetic. The lobby has these gorgeous zellige tiles and carved cedar, but it doesn’t feel like a theme park version of Morocco – you know what I mean? The staff actually remembers your name after day two, which is rare at bigger resorts. I mean, the property is massive (they’ve got multiple pools, which you’ll appreciate when you see how packed the main one gets around 2 PM), but somehow it doesn’t feel impersonal. The gardens are legitimately beautiful too – I’d find myself walking through them in the early morning when the air still has that crisp desert edge to it.
Here’s the thing about the rooms: they’re spacious and well-appointed, though the AC can be a bit temperamental in peak summer. The bathrooms are actually impressive – marble everywhere and those deep soaking tubs that you’ll want after a day wandering around the souks. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing; even though you’re on a main avenue, the traffic noise doesn’t really penetrate. The WiFi is solid throughout the property, which honestly saved me when I needed to get work done by the pool. Speaking of pools, there’s a quieter one tucked away near the spa area that most guests seem to miss – local tip right there. The breakfast spread is extensive, though it gets pretty chaotic between 8-9 AM when all the tour groups descend. If you can swing it, go around 7:30 or after 10 AM for a more civilized experience. The Moroccan pastries are genuinely good, not just hotel-buffet good, and they make a mean mint tea that actually tastes like the stuff you get in the medina. One small gripe – the elevators are slow during peak times, but the building is beautiful enough that taking the stairs isn’t torture. The spa is worth mentioning too; I splurged on a hammam treatment and it was absolutely worth it, though book ahead because they fill up fast. All in all, with that 8.8 rating, they’re doing something right – it’s the kind of place where you can have an authentic Moroccan experience without sacrificing comfort.

Iinitially booked just one night but ended up staying two because I genuinely loved this hotel. The rooms are spacious, the gardens are beautifully maintained, and the pool is large and inviting. The free shuttle to the city center (only about 10 minutes away) is a great bonus, and there's a big shopping center right behind the hotel. I also enjoyed the rooftop—perfect spot for a drink in the evening.
I want to thank the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. The list would be too long if I named everyone, but I especially want to highlight Ilham and Mouad, what an amazing duo ,They were incredibly kind, and we had such a great time together by the pool and at the bar.
I’m already looking forward to coming back. This stay was short but absolutely worth itExceptional – Anthony from United States – 3 July 2025 (10/10)
My stay at the Kenzi Menara Palace in Marrakech was simply exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and professional. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and offered optimal comfort. The overall setting of the hotel is calm and pleasant—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The breakfast was generous and of high quality, with fresh products. I especially appreciated the little touches that made all the difference. A place where you truly feel at ease—I highly recommend it and will definitely come back with great pleasure.
A special thank you to Mouad and abdel for the kindness and positive energy, and to Ilham from public relations for her warm welcome and professionalism.Exceptional – Abdel from Netherlands – 1 July 2025 (10/10)

From the moment we arrived at the hotel until the very end of our stay, our experience was exceptional, thanks in large part to Kawtar at the reception. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and well taken care of.
At check-in, she greeted us with a warm smile and handled everything quickly and efficiently, making sure we had everything we needed. Throughout our stay, she was always available to answer our questions, offer assistance, and provide helpful recommendations. And during check-out, she made the process just as smooth and pleasant.Exceptional – Alan from Belgium – 25 June 2025 (10/10)

The pool area was fantastic ,the hotel has several huge pools, perfect for relaxing. The free shuttle to the city center was very convenient. The staff were incredibly responsive and always ready to help. A special mention to Ilham for her kindness and support throughout our stay
What could be improved: However, a few things could be improved. The Wi-Fi didn’t work properly in the room. The AC was on max but still not cooling enough, Also, breakfast was extremely busy and a bit chaotic.
