La Perle de l’Atlas by Golf Resort Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “La Perle de l’Atlas,” I was expecting something a bit over the top, you know? But this place actually lives up to the fancy name without being pretentious about it. It’s tucked away in the Palmeraie area, which honestly is one of the better spots to stay if you want to be close to Marrakech but not drowning in the constant honking and chaos of the medina. The drive from the airport takes about 20 minutes (well, assuming your taxi driver doesn’t get lost like mine did), and you’ll know you’re getting close when you start seeing actual palm trees instead of just dust and construction sites.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to blend the golf resort thing with authentic Moroccan style – I mean, usually these places feel like they could be anywhere from Arizona to Dubai. But here, you’ve got this gorgeous traditional architecture with those hand-carved details that take forever to do properly, sitting right next to perfectly manicured fairways. The staff genuinely seems to care too, which you can’t always count on at resort-style places. Check-in was smooth (they had my room ready even though I showed up early), and the guy at the front desk actually gave me useful local tips instead of just pointing to a tourist map. The rooms are spacious with proper AC – trust me, you’ll appreciate that if you’re visiting between May and September when Marrakech turns into an oven.
The golf course itself is pretty spectacular, even if you’re not much of a golfer. I spent most mornings just walking around the grounds with coffee, watching the Atlas Mountains change color as the sun came up. There’s something about that mountain backdrop that makes everything feel more dramatic, you know? The restaurant situation is solid too – they do this amazing tagine that doesn’t taste like the watered-down tourist version you get in the medina, and breakfast has enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying more than a few days. Only real complaint is that it can get pretty quiet in the evenings if you’re looking for nightlife – you’ll want to head into the city center for that, which is about a 15-minute ride. But honestly, after a day of exploring Marrakech’s souks and dodging motorbikes, the peaceful vibe here feels like exactly what you need. The pool area stays pleasant even when it’s busy, and there’s enough space that you’re not fighting for chairs. If you’re the type who likes having a home base that feels like a retreat but still puts you close enough to dive into the real Morocco when you want to, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

Exceptional – Saad from Sweden – 9 June 2025 (10/10)
Our stay at La Perle de L'Atlas was amazing! What truly made it special, beyond the location and its amenities, was Abdu's (the owner) attentiveness and helpfulness. He ensured that all our needs were met, making our short stay truly memorable. Thank you once again—my family and I will surely be coming back!
They made us feel cared for and special – Antonio from United Kingdom – 19 May 2025 (10/10)
We had a massive garden with plenty of garden furniture to enjoy the amazing spring weather which we used for al fresco suppers and breakfast and it was absolutely lovely. The shower pressure was really good and we had air con that worked perfectly well. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was really spacious and comfortable. The television had many channels and Netflix in case you wanted to relax during the hot hours or after supper. Although we didn’t use it much. The bed was really comfy, a bit on the firm side but I prefer that. There were electric blinders as well so we slept deeply as the light could not get in. The 2 swimming pools were massive and we enjoyed our morning swimming. But the best of all is the service, when I read the reviews about the staff and the service provided by Abdu and Samad, I thought they were exaggerating, but I won’t lie if I say that they provided the best service I have had in my life. They made us feel special since the moment we arrived and Abdu is so attentive that I’ll be coming back to this property on my next trip to Marrakech without a doubt. He will literally arrange anything for you and will always go the extra mile. Words cannot describe what good professional he is. Thanks 🙏
What could be improved: For this price, nothing to really complain aboutFantastic authentic Moroccan stay with great help from the owner – Natasha from Australia – 16 May 2025 (8/10)
Love this apartment ! Fantastic Morocco villa escape hidden away from it all. Great place to just chill out for a while from the madness of Marrakesh. Quiet and comfortable lovely view of the pool and the Atlas mountains and Moroccan rooftops
What could be improved: Abdu the owner was fantastic very helpful great with communication and recommended some fantastic things to do like tours & henna at the apartment. He looked after me so well. He sorted out all our Taxis and delivered water bottles to us when we run out. I really felt so looked after by him. About the apartment itself it was super comfortable quiet clean and was very a relaxing authentic moroccan stay. However, just be careful that the supermarket is an hours walk away.Excellent – Mounir from Netherlands – 9 May 2025 (10/10)

Beautiful Moroccan style apartment, perfect for a little couple or friend get away, also had a swimining pool view! The host was so helpful and kind, i booked same day and arrived quite late, the team and security were so kind to help me park and find the property. It's super safe as its in a gated community with 24/7 guards so never need to worry.
What could be improved: Nothing not to like!Exceptional – Maha from Morocco – 15 April 2025 (10/10)
Our stay at this Resort was truly unforgettable and an experience we cherished as a family. Nestled in the heart of Marrakech's Palmeraie, it provides a peaceful retreat far from the city's commotion, yet still conveniently close to major attractions, landmarks, and essential services.
The overall value for money is outstanding, especially given the exceptional setting, the top-notch service, and the wide range of amenities available, all of which perfectly met our expectations.
The swimming pools were immaculate, and the lush gardens were beautifully maintained. We particularly enjoyed the private terrace with its charming pergola, offering stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and the surrounding palm trees—an ideal spot to unwind in the sunshine.
Our apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated, and maintained to a high standard. The bedding was very comfortable, and the wifi was both fast and reliable.
Service was another highlight of our stay. Abdu stood out for his warm welcome, constant smile, and thoughtful attention to our every need.
Security throughout the resort was reassuring, with several guards stationed at the entrance and throughout the property. We felt completely safe throughout our visit.
I would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a dreamy getaway in Marrakech. Many thanks for this wonderful experience! We had a wonderful stay. The place is great and very quiet away from busy Marrakech. – Jan from Netherlands – 5 March 2025 (9/10)
The best part is that it is very quiet as it is outside of the busy Marrakech centre. Make sure to rent a car for easy access to the many places to visit around. Abdu can also make arrangements for activities if you wish to do so or any tips for Marrakech.
Exceptional – Fiona from United Kingdom – 16 January 2025 (10/10)
I was so pleased to have booked these two apartments at La Perle. Slightly out of town but just what we wanted having travelled with my elderly father. The gardens and pool area are beautiful with Orange and Palm trees in abundance. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the elevated terrace was fantastic for sunbathing & dining out on.
What made it extra special for us was having Mr Abdu on hand to answer any of our questions, order our Taxi's & generally care about our well being whilst there. His input was invaluable and so appreciated. All in all a 5* stay and well worth the money we spent.
What could be improved: Don't forget to bring water with you when you arrive as there isn't a shop on site that sells any.Exceptional. I highly recommend. – Bhekimpilo from United Kingdom – 1 January 2025 (10/10)
The property was really clean & comfortable. There is also a security company at the gated estate.
