The pool area is where this place really shines – I mean, it’s not huge, but it’s got this clean, contemporary vibe that feels refreshing after you’ve been wandering around the dusty souks all day. The tiles are cool under your feet, and there’s usually a nice breeze in the evenings. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep it quiet; you’re not dealing with screaming kids or people blasting music, which seems to be an issue at some of the bigger resort-style places. The parking situation is actually worth mentioning because if you’ve ever tried to navigate a rental car through Marrakech’s old city, you’ll understand why having a guaranteed spot is basically priceless. The staff seemed to know their stuff too – they didn’t just point vaguely toward the medina when I asked for directions, they actually gave me specific landmarks and warned me about the areas where tourists tend to get turned around.

The rooms have that crisp, minimalist thing going on that photographs well, but more importantly, the air conditioning actually works (trust me, this matters more than you think it will in July). I noticed they’ve got these thick curtains that block out the morning call to prayer if you’re not into the 5 AM wake-up call, though honestly, it’s kind of beautiful to listen to if you’re already awake. The location puts you within walking distance of some decent restaurants that aren’t just tourist traps – there’s this little place around the corner where locals actually eat, and the hotel staff will point you toward it if you ask. With an 8.4 rating, it’s clearly doing something right, and I’d say that’s about accurate. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises, which in Marrakech can be harder to find than you’d expect.
