Les Roses By La Siredrah Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Les Roses By La Siredrah? I was expecting another generic riad-style place, but this spot actually feels like someone’s stylish country retreat that just happens to take guests. It’s about 18 kilometers out on the Ourika road – yeah, that winding route everyone takes to get to the Atlas foothills – and honestly, the drive itself is half the experience. You’re leaving behind all that Marrakech chaos (the motorbikes, the dust, the constant horn honking) and suddenly you’re in this different world where you can actually hear birds instead of traffic.
The property sits in what I can only describe as an oasis situation – lots of roses, obviously, given the name, but also olive trees and these massive palms that create actual shade. The owners clearly know their plants because everything’s thriving despite the heat. I mean, it gets properly hot out there in summer, but the gardens stay green and the whole place has this cooling effect that’s not just from the air conditioning. The rooms are what you’d call understated elegant – clean lines, local materials, but not trying too hard to scream “authentic Morocco” at you. The bathrooms are particularly well done, with good water pressure (trust me, this matters) and those little touches like proper lighting around the mirrors. What really impressed me was the attention to sound – the walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing your neighbors, and at night it’s genuinely quiet except for the occasional owl.
The restaurant deserves a mention because they’re doing something interesting with local ingredients – not just the standard tagine repertoire, though they do a solid lamb tagine too. The chef sources vegetables from nearby farms in the valley, and you can taste the difference. Breakfast happens on this gorgeous terrace overlooking the gardens, and if you time it right – around 8 AM before it gets too warm – it’s pretty much perfect. The staff genuinely seem to enjoy working there, which always tells you something about a place. They’re helpful without being hovering, and most speak enough English to sort out whatever you need. Check-in was smooth, parking’s easy (just pull up to the entrance), and they’ve got that 9.2 rating for good reason. It’s not cheap, but for what you get – the location, the peace, the quality of everything – it feels fair. If you’re looking to decompress after a few days in the medina madness, or if you want a base for exploring the Atlas mountains without staying in the city, this place makes a lot of sense.

Perfect location for our visit which while only two days worked well for us. Quiet place buy not that far from the city.
Serves meals if with limited choice but more than adequate if you want to remain at the property.
All staff very helpful and friendly making the visit comfortable.
What could be improved: Slight problem of a faint sewerage smell that the property acknowledged and planned for a plumber to repair the issue.Fab hotel, fab staff, good value, will return. – Mike from United Kingdom – 19 April 2025 (9/10)
Clean, comfortable and staff could not do enough to help you. Food was delicious. Pools were lovely, an amazing place to sit and chill out, beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains.
What could be improved: Whilst perfect for relaxing, you are quite isolated. The free shuttle into the Medina was great but you had to go all day or pay for private taxi if coming home earlier or later.
The food was outstanding but not everything on menu always available and there is nowhere else to eat locally. After 4 nights we found we were eating the same things two or three times.Exceptional – Bohumil from Czech Republic – 10 April 2025 (10/10)
Oasis as I understand the word. We were driving through night and got lost but finally we found the place and had excellent time.
Superb – Fran from United Kingdom – 8 April 2025 (9/10)
We loved this property. Walid really made out stay the best being very accommodating and approachable. Beautiful views, and clean rooms with all necessary facilities.
One downside was the bad sewage smell which worsens when the toilet flushes which needs to be sorted!Exceptional – Mourad from United Kingdom – 2 April 2025 (10/10)
Great place the best place to stay …

It's a beautiful place and the views from the garden of a mountain are stunning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely food available at the property. The only thing to keep in mind is that the property is around 30 mins in a taxi from Marrakech but there is a taxi available at the property during working hours or pre-book if needed for evening etc.
The hotel is located about 30min drive from the airport in nice and quiet area. The hotel provides a safe and comfortab – Patrycja from United Kingdom – 23 March 2025 (10/10)
Amazing food, lovely people, comfortable rooms, spectacular views, quiet area, good prices.
What could be improved: Everything was perfectIncredible stay! – Emma from United Kingdom – 22 March 2025 (10/10)
The staff were extremely friendly- namely Hajar and Walid. The place was beautiful and idyllic, with scenic views of the Atlas mountains in the distance.
What could be improved: Honestly don’t have anything bad to say about this place, however, the only thing is It’s quite far from the town center/medina and so we ended up spending a lot of money on cabs back and forth. So keep this in mind if you are planning on travelling in to the city a lot. Would still highly recommend this place though as they do provide transport back and forth pretty much whenever you want.Perfectly located! – Capatina from Netherlands – 26 February 2025 (9/10)
Les Roses is perfectly located! You can unwind here in peace, yet within 30 minutes, you can be in the vibrant heart of Marrakesh. Everything was spotless, and the workers were very friendly.
