You know what struck me first about this place? It’s tucked away in the Jawharat Atlas residence like a well-kept secret – honestly, I walked past the entrance twice before finding it. But once you’re inside apartment 3 on the first floor, you realize why it’s called “Luxe Moderne.” The whole vibe is this perfect blend of contemporary style with just enough Moroccan touches that you don’t forget where you are.

The location is actually brilliant if you know Marrakech at all. You’re right in Hivernage, which means you can walk to the medina when you want that authentic chaos, but retreat to this surprisingly quiet residential area when you need to decompress. I mean, the corner of rue Aboubakr Essadik and Zineb Nafisia sounds intimidating on paper, but it’s actually this lovely tree-lined stretch where you hear more birds than traffic in the mornings. The modern apartment setup means you get a proper kitchen – and trust me, after a few days of tagines, sometimes you just want to make coffee your way, you know? The whole building has this clean, almost European feel that some travelers really appreciate after navigating the labyrinthine streets of the old city.

What I loved most was how the owners clearly understand what modern travelers actually need. The WiFi works (not always a given in Marrakech), the air conditioning is powerful enough for those brutal summer afternoons, and there’s this attention to detail in the furnishings that feels thoughtful rather than flashy. Sure, it’s not going to give you that traditional riad experience with the central courtyard and all that – but honestly, sometimes you want to just flop on a comfortable modern sofa without worrying about whether you’re respecting some centuries-old architectural tradition. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me; it’s not perfect, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. I’d definitely recommend it to friends who want to experience Marrakech but prefer their downtime to feel familiar and comfortable.

  Alojamiento muy limpio y cómodo. Buena ubicación, cerca de supermercados, estación de autobuses y puestos de comida. Muy buena comunicación con el anfitrión, se ha mostrado amable y atento en todo momento. El apartamento es muy cómodo y tiene todo lo necesario para sentirte como en casa.

  Lo que más me há gustado fue la localización, estaba cerca de todo! Hay una pequeña tienda abajo que hay casi de todo, restaurantes, farmacia, parada de taxis, todo muy cerca. Y la atención de Julien fue de un 10, muy contenta con todo!
