You’re right in Gueliz, which locals will tell you is where actual Marrakechis go to shop and eat. There’s this excellent little café called Café du Livre just a five-minute walk away where you can grab proper coffee (not the overly sweet stuff you sometimes get in the medina), and the Carré Eden shopping center is close enough that you can pop over for essentials without it being a whole expedition. The neighborhood has this relaxed vibe during the day – you’ll hear more French and Arabic than English, which I actually loved.

What really sets this apartment apart is how it balances luxury with livability. The kitchen is actually functional (shocking, I know), with a full-sized fridge and decent cookware if you want to hit the local markets and try your hand at tagine-making. The bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your luggage, and honestly, the air conditioning works like a dream – crucial during those scorching summer months when Marrakech turns into an oven. The building itself feels solid and quiet; I never had issues with noise from other guests or the street, even though you’re on a fairly busy avenue. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season, but the host was super helpful with suggestions for nearby spots.

The 9-star rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s those little details that add up – the WiFi actually works for video calls (tested extensively), the shower has proper water pressure, and the terrace space is perfect for that mandatory sunset drink while watching the Atlas Mountains change colors. I spent way too many evenings out there with a bottle of local rosé, just watching the city lights flicker on below. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the building’s elevator is a bit temperamental, but hey, that’s part of the charm of staying somewhere that feels authentically Moroccan rather than sterile and corporate.

If you’re the type who wants to experience Marrakech like someone who actually lives there – close enough to walk to the medina when you want that classic experience, but with a modern base where you can decompress and plan your next adventure – this place delivers. Plus, those Atlas Mountain views never get old, trust me on that one.

  La conciergerie nous a contacté pour fixer l’heure d’arrivée et de départ , ils sont très ponctuels. Super emplacement ,proche des restaurants de Guéliz , 15 minutes à pied de Jemaa El Fna .superbe vue sur la ville et les sommets de l’Atlas .

  Location was very central and only a 20 min walk to the Medina. Very good restaurant downstairs also that did Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and shop right next to it.
  The rooms were big and spacious, and perfect views over Marrakesh sunrise and sunset.

  The location Guliez was a well set area, safe and the apartment was on the 5th floor with lift accessible just with keycode. Basic grocery store is just downstairs with a well ambience restaurant and the city center medina of max 3 km. Apartment is quiet comfortable with all the basic amenities with comfortable bedding & centralized ac. The balcony was quiet spacious with decent city view.
  
  What could be improved: There is only 1 washroom, so being 4 adults, but adjustable if being in a family. Main downside that we felt are the utensils. There were very less. Even though the tap water was drinkable as demonstrated by the host, still the taste was not good. So we bought mineral water from the store.

  Die Bilder werden dem Apartment nicht gerecht. Es ist eine wirklich sehr schöne und geräumige Wohnung, die alles beinhaltet, was man braucht. Im Café darunter gibt es außergewöhnlich gutes Frühstück zu einem unschlagbaren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Eine perfekte kleine Oase, um der hektischen Medina zu entfliehen. Shops und Supermarkt direkt in der Nähe. Würde für alle weiteren Aufenthalte wieder dort buchen.

  The apartment exceeds expectations compared to the pictures. The décor is impeccably executed. Its location for us is ideal – not directly in the medina but just a 20-minute walk away, and conveniently close to Gueliz as well.
  The host was incredibly helpful, meeting us at the apartment and assisting with airport transfers, which made us feel very secure. Additionally, the hosts offer tours to all the famous sights around Marrakech.

  Ausstattung ist perfekt. Das trifft auch auf die Kücheneinrichtung zu.
  Etwas entfernt zum Zentrum, aber es gibt genügend preiswerte Taxis.
  Ein gutes Restaurant befindet sich im Erdgeschoß des Gebäudes.
  Die Schlüsselübergabe wurde telefonisch vereinbart und klappte reibungslos (Danke Mohamaad!)
  
  What could be improved: Es gibt nur einen Schlüssel mit Aufzugs-Chip.
  Ein vorhandener zweiter Schlüssel hat keinen Chip.
