Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to this place on rue Ezzoubair Ben el Aouame, I wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment-style hotel. The address is a bit of a mouthful, and finding Bloc F in the Résidence Opera-A had me circling around for a few minutes (thank god for patient taxi drivers in Marrakech). But once you’re up on the fourth floor, you actually get why this spot works so well.

The suite itself is… well, it’s exactly what it says on the tin. That king bed is legitimately huge – I mean, you could probably fit three people comfortably if you wanted to. The pool access is what really sold me though. It’s not some tiny splash pad; it’s a proper pool that you can actually swim in, which honestly felt like a miracle after spending hours wandering through the medina in 40-degree heat. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice apartment than a typical hotel, which I actually preferred. You’ve got a proper kitchen if you want to grab groceries from the Carrefour down the street, and the living area has enough space to spread out without feeling cramped.

What I really appreciated was the location – you’re right in Guéliz, which means you can walk to decent restaurants and cafes without dealing with the intensity of the old medina every single day. The neighborhood has that modern Marrakech vibe, sort of a mix between European influence and Moroccan style, and it’s genuinely pleasant to stroll around in the evenings. Plus, you’re close enough to Hivernage that you can easily hop over to the fancier hotels for drinks if you want that scene. The building itself is pretty quiet – I was worried about noise with it being an apartment complex, but the fourth floor keeps you above most of the street sounds. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too, though you’ll want to coordinate timing since it’s not a 24-hour front desk situation like you’d get at a big chain hotel. The whole experience felt more personal, like the owners actually care about the place rather than just collecting booking fees. For the price point and that 8.8 rating, I can see why people keep coming back – it’s got that sweet spot of being comfortable without being stuffy, and practical without feeling cheap.

  Youness communicates promptly and clearly and is very respectful. We loved a clean and modern apartment with all the amenities. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Everything is just as described. And there's 24 manned security, even though we felt safe .The location is perfect not only when arriving by train, about 6 minutes walk, but also the neighborhood offers a small convenience store and a decent next door restaurant. The pickup location for tours is at a hotel across the street.
  
  What could be improved: The pool was closed. We were told by another apartment owner that it's usually open, but it's not heated.

  Nous avons pu rejoindre l'appartement à pied en 5mn depuis la gare routière. Les explications étaient claires pour entrer dans l'appartement et le contact avec Youness (par whats app) a été très sympathique. L'appartement est spacieux, propre et joliment décoré. Le canapé et le lit étaient très confortables.
  Nous avons apprécié de trouver deux cafetières (une à capsules et une French Press), une bouilloire, un grillepain, un microonde, une cuisinière avec un four ainsi que du café, thé, différents épices, deux bouteilles d'eau et 2 chocolats de bienvenue. La machine à laver était fonctionnelle et il y avait même de la lessive. Nous n'avons pas été gêné par les bruits de la cour intérieure ni par le vis à vis. Bien que l'appartement soit assez excentré il est facile de rejoindre le centre-ville en une vingtaine de minutes avec les bus locaux qui se trouvent à proximité.
  
  What could be improved: Pour faire la cuisine, il y avait peu d'ustensile, une seule casserole et une seule poele dont les revêtements étaient totalement usés. Bien que l'appartement ai été très propre, la vaisselle et les couverts étaient mal lavés, nous avons dû tous les relaver avant de les utiliser.
  Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu utiliser la piscine, les horaires d'ouverture ne correspondant pas aux horaires affichés, ce qui n'était pas la faute de notre hôte qui a été désolé de l'apprendre et qui nous a proposé de nous dédommager. A savoir que l'accès à la piscine se fait en traversant un parking souterrain assez glauque (voir photo).

  Il ragazzo è stato disponibile nel darci spiegazioni.
  
  What could be improved: Non è stato facile trovarla , la posizione gps non è esattamente quella indicata , ed il ragazzo della security parlava solo arabo e un po’ di francese , quindi anche una volta trovato il condominio , riuscire a trovare l’appartamento ha richiesto una grossa perdita di tempo.
  La notte per chi ha il sonno leggero consiglio di andare in hotel, i vicini erano veramente chiassosi.
