But this place on Boulevard Abdelkrim Al Khattabi actually delivers, and I mean that in the best way possible. You’re right in the thick of Gueliz, which is perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Marrakech rather than just visiting it. The Residence Miramas building itself is one of those modern complexes that actually fits into the neighborhood – you know how some new developments stick out like a sore thumb? This one doesn’t.

What really got me was how quiet apartment F14 stays despite being so central. I mean, you can walk to Avenue Mohammed V in maybe ten minutes, hit up all those cafes and shops that locals actually frequent (not just the tourist traps), but when you’re back in the apartment, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The pool area is honestly a game-changer during those scorching afternoon hours – and trust me, even in shoulder season, you’ll want that escape from the heat. The wifi actually works properly too, which… well, anyone who’s traveled in Morocco knows that’s not always a given, even in nice places.

The apartment itself feels lived-in but well-maintained, if that makes sense. Someone clearly put thought into the details – decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, a kitchen that’s equipped for more than just heating up leftovers. I appreciated that the air conditioning wasn’t one of those ancient units that sounds like a freight train. You can tell this isn’t someone’s side hustle rental property – it’s set up by people who understand what travelers actually need. The location means you’re walking distance from Carré Eden for shopping, but you’re also close enough to the medina that you can easily hop between old and new Marrakech without feeling like you’re commuting. Honestly, that balance is harder to find than you’d think. The 9.3 rating isn’t inflated – this is one of those places where the experience matches the expectations, which is refreshing in a city where tourism can sometimes feel a bit… manufactured.

  Almost everything: it was clean, had a good value, the host was nice and everything went as planned. The terrace was also a nice bonus, and we found the accomodation close to many of the attractions.
  
  What could be improved: The internet was worse than expected: unstable connection and we had problems using Google Meets for work. No other complaints besides that.

  Hicham saved our holiday in Marrakech. His apartment is very well located and it has all you need . The area is full of supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and a bank machine is near the property. The owner was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. When we come back to Maroc, surely we will come to Hicham' s apartment !

  Excellent flat fully furnished, the location is in the heart of Marrakech, everything is nearby. The flat owner, Hicham, is very kind and available to provide all the explanations. I would highly recommend this flat, and I would definitely return there if I m passing through this nice city.

  It was a nice apartment, equipped with all the amenities may need for a short or long-term stay.
  Location is Great. Walking Distance from the Railway station and Not far from Old City.
  Owner Mr Hicham is a very nice person. From the moment of booking till check out he was in touch and follow up if everything is OK.

  The property was clean and everything we need was near by . When you rent this apartment you feel like home.
  The supermarket is not to far from the property. Lots of restaurants around.
  The train station 5 minutes waking . The property has parking under ground. The owner Hicham will go above and beyond the make your stay agréable and relaxing.

  A modern apartment (studio), very safe and solid. The 2 rooms are cosy and tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and located in the middle of Gueliz.
  A well equipped bathroom with shower a kitchen with all the the
  'mod cons' . The bedroom comes with double bed and fresh linen.
  The living is comfy has a balcony with sitting area and a view on rue du Draa. There’s a swimming pool downstairs (!)
  Hicham and Hamza are friendly and welcoming hosts.
  Supermarket, cafes, restaurants are just around the corner.
  Bus nr 1 and 12 takes you to the medina. You couldn't find a better place to stay (at this price).

• Great apartment in Gueliz – Willem from Netherlands – 12 March 2024 (9/10)

  It was a lovely stay. It was the week of modern dance Festival at the IF and palace Es Saadi.
  
  The modern apartment (Miramas 2) is very safe and solid. The rooms are cosy and tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean and located in the middle of Gueliz.
  
  It has a well equipped bathroom with shower a kitchen with all the the ‘mod cons’ a bedroom with double bed with lots of fresh linen.
  
  The "salon" is comfy has a balcony with view on rue du Draa (quiet).
  
  Hicham and Hamza are friendly and welcoming hosts.
  Supermarket, cafes, restaurants are around the corner.
  
  Bus nr 1 and 12 takes you to the Place Djemaa al Fna. You couldn’t find a better place to stay at this rate. I would definitely come back again.
