Honestly, when I first pulled up to this place on Avenue Hassan II, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect – the building looks pretty standard from the street, but man, was I wrong about judging it from the outside. This apartment is tucked right in the heart of Gueliz, which if you don’t know Marrakech well, is basically the modern part of the city where actual locals do their shopping and grab coffee. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the main drag with all the cafes and that big Carrefour where you can actually buy normal groceries (trust me, after a few days of tagines, you’ll want some familiar snacks).

The apartment itself feels way more spacious than most hotel rooms you’ll get for the price, and I mean actually spacious – not that fake “open concept” thing where they just cram everything into one room. The kitchen is fully equipped, which saved me a fortune since eating out every meal in Marrakech adds up fast. What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night, even being right on Hassan II. I was worried about traffic noise, but the windows are solid and you’re set back just enough from the street that it’s not an issue. The AC works properly too – and I say that as someone who’s been burned by sketchy cooling systems in Morocco before. There’s this nice little balcony where I’d sit with my morning coffee and watch the city wake up, which honestly became my favorite part of each day.

You know what really makes this place work though? The location is just… perfect for getting around. You’re close enough to walk to the medina when you want that full sensory overload experience, but far enough that you can retreat to something that feels more like normal life when you need a break. The train station is maybe fifteen minutes on foot, and there are always taxis cruising Hassan II if you don’t feel like walking. Plus – and this might sound weird – but there’s a really good pharmacy right around the corner, which came in handy when I needed some basic stuff. The host was actually responsive too, not one of those situations where you’re texting into the void when something goes wrong. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you’re planning to be in Marrakech for more than just a quick tourist hit and want somewhere that feels a bit more like living there than just passing through.

  Tout est était très bien , sauf que le numéro de l’immeuble n’est pas juste , c’est marqué 12 avenue Hassan II mais apparemment 12 est le numéro de l’appartement le numéro de l’immeuble est 64 ce qu’il nous a fait perdre 1h pour le trouver .

  Brilliant Location, close to the main train station, food places, supermarkets and on route for buses, taxis and very easy to find. Secure, key entry and caretaker present in foyer. Large bedroom, small bed for children and two decent bathrooms. Airconditioners in all places. Good well-equipped kitchen, FF, microwave, washing machine and a dryer. A great breakfast place Le Marlette was in front of the residence. Azar, a fantastic restaurant with a cultural show, is within walking distance. Care Eden Mall was behind the residence and Menara Mall was walkable too.
  Buses take you straight to Kotubia mosque, Sook and Madina, the old city centre. ATMs nearby.
  
  What could be improved: There was a shisha bar place just behind the flat, and they played loud music all evening until 2 a.m., which was a bit of a nuisance if you wanted to sleep early. This can be an important factor in booking this flat if you like to sleep before 2 am and wake early for a balloon ride or desert safari!

  a localização eh ótima. Vários restaurantes e cafes ao redor.
  As toalhas e lençóis estava bem branquinhos, super limpos.
  Os porteiros super atenciosos e educados, muito prestativos.
  
  What could be improved: O boiler era pequeno, então se uma pessoa tomava banho, o outro tinha que esperar mais de uma hora para ter agua quente. E como estava frio, não havia outra alternativa senão aguardar.
