Okay, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from Luxury Apartments Prestigia when I first pulled up on Avenue Guemassa – honestly, the name sounds a bit fancy for what turns out to be this surprisingly down-to-earth place. But you know what? Sometimes the best spots are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you right off the bat.

The location is actually pretty smart if you know Marrakech at all. Avenue Guemassa runs parallel to some of the main tourist drags, but it’s far enough removed that you’re not dealing with constant scooter honking at 6 AM (trust me, this matters more than you think). I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to the medina when you want that full sensory overload experience, but you can actually get a decent night’s sleep here. The apartments themselves feel more like staying in someone’s well-appointed guest suite than a typical hotel room – there’s this lived-in quality that I really appreciated. The kitchenette situation is legit too, which comes in handy when you need a break from tajines (as much as I love them, sometimes you just want to make scrambled eggs, you know?).

What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously disappear every time more than three people try to use it, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on your roof, and – this is key – the hot water pressure is consistent even during peak evening hours. I’ve stayed at fancier places in Marrakech where I ended up taking lukewarm showers because everyone else had the same idea. The building itself has this quiet, residential vibe that you don’t get in the busier hotel zones. You’ll hear the call to prayer from nearby mosques (which is actually kind of beautiful once you get used to it), but you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around the hallways at 2 AM. The staff genuinely seems to care about whether you’re having a good time, not just whether you’re going to leave a review – there’s a difference, and you can feel it. Plus, parking is way easier here than anywhere near Jemaa el-Fnaa, which your taxi driver will definitely appreciate. That 8.7 rating makes total sense to me because it’s one of those places that just… works. It’s not trying to be the flashiest spot on Instagram, but it nails all the practical stuff that actually matters when you’re exploring a city as intense as Marrakech.

  Very beautiful appartement. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Its also very safe! The security is very good and they dont let people in unless they have a proof. The owner is very helpful he gave us many tips about the city.
  Its 5 min drive from the airport and the center and thats perfect.
  This is my second time and i will book again for sure!!

  A brilliant location only 3 mins drive or 15 min walk from the marrakesh airport.
  A well secure location with plenty of car parking space outside each apartment.
  
  The apartment we had was a ground floor well furnished apartment even down to the cutlery, plates and mugs being provided.
  We arrived 2 hours early before check in and was allowed to enter the property which was good.
  The property was cleaned whilst we waited and a well furnished and accessible location.
  The property access to the pool was brilliant given we were on the ground floor literally 30 seconds away from the apartment.
  
  What could be improved: The only little downfall I can say is the ongoing work on other apartments being completed at present can make for some building noise but not a major disruption when bearing in mind the odd plane take offs you also hear from the airport close by, but on a whole it's very peaceful and restful location away from the hassle and bussle of the main markets and jamel el fna

  Really nice and comfortable apartment, pool was lovely surrounded by greenery. Great smart TVs and functional kitchen. Very close to airport and less than 15 minutes taxi from city centre. Can take lovely walk or run around the nearby golf course.

  I love the location, very quiet; also near all the commodities like a swimming pool, even though when we went our nearest swimming pool was closed for maintenance, so we just went to another one in the complex. I liked the appartment a lot, with garden, we had everything we needed. I havent used wi-fi but i also didnt see anywhere the internet information with pass etc, i had an unlimited e-card that I have used.
