I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Luxury Duplex – Private Jacuzzi – Center Hivernage,” I thought it was one of those places that promises the world and delivers a glorified studio apartment. But actually walking into this place on Rue El Qadi Ayad? Well, it sort of lives up to the hype, even if the four-star rating feels a bit generous in some areas.

The location is what really got me. You know how Gueliz can feel like two different cities depending on which street you’re on? This spot hits that sweet spot where you’re close enough to Avenue Mohammed V that you can walk to all the good restaurants and cafes, but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise. I mean, you’ll still hear the occasional scooter – this is Marrakech after all – but it’s actually pretty quiet, especially considering you’re in the heart of the modern city. The building itself has that clean, contemporary feel that stands out against some of the more traditional riads in the area, though honestly, some might find it a bit sterile compared to the character you get elsewhere.

Here’s what actually matters though – that private jacuzzi isn’t just a marketing gimmick. It’s properly maintained, the water gets hot (crucial detail that’s often overlooked), and there’s something genuinely relaxing about soaking after a day of navigating the souks or hiking in the Atlas Mountains. The duplex layout gives you real space to spread out, which you’ll appreciate if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The kitchen is functional enough that you could actually cook if you wanted to, though with places like Al Fassia just a short walk away, I’m not sure why you would. One thing to note – the air conditioning works well, but you might hear it cycling on and off at night. Not a deal-breaker, but light sleepers should know.

The 7.9 rating feels about right to me. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers on what it promises without any major disappointments. Check-in was smooth, the place was clean, and the staff seemed to actually care about making sure everything worked properly. You’re paying a bit of a premium for that private jacuzzi and the location, but if you’re looking for a modern, comfortable base in Gueliz rather than the full medina experience, this hits the mark. Just don’t expect the kind of jaw-dropping luxury you might find at some of the high-end riads – it’s more about solid comfort and that excellent location than it is about traditional Moroccan charm.

  Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans ce magnifique duplex. Dès notre arrivée, tout était impeccable : Mohamed avait organisé un transfert depuis l’aéroport, très pratique et parfaitement géré. Le duplex était d’une propreté irréprochable, joliment décoré et nous attendait avec une corbeille de fruits, du café frais et de l’eau — une attention vraiment appréciée !
  
  L’emplacement est idéal, très central, à deux pas du centre commercial Carré Éden, de McDonald’s et de nombreux cafés et restaurants. Mention spéciale à la boulangerie Charif, juste à côté du KFC, pour ses excellents petits-déjeuners avec viennoiseries et pains délicieux. Il y a aussi des bars sympas à proximité, comme l’Irish Pub, avec des prix très raisonnables.
  
  Le duplex en lui-même est spacieux, très bien équipé, avec des télévisions dans le salon et les chambres, IPTV, Netflix, et la climatisation dans chaque pièce. Nous étions cinq en famille, et tout le monde a adoré. Les lits sont très confortables, et la cuisine est super équipée — même si nous n’avons pas cuisiné, car il y a beaucoup de bonnes adresses abordables à côté.
  
  Et que dire de la superbe terrasse arborée avec gazebo et jacuzzi ! C’était l’endroit parfait pour se détendre après nos journées bien remplies entre la médina et les excursions (notamment le quad dans le désert d’Agafay).
  
  Un immense merci à Mohamed pour son accueil chaleureux et ses excellentes recommandations. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute. Je recommande ce logement à 200 % !

  L’accueil qui nous a été réservé : au top 👌. L’appartement est grand et confortable. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus.
  Mention spéciale pour l’emplacement dans le quartier de Gueliz. Nous avons tous fait à pied & petit déjeuner tous les matins dans la réputée boulangerie Charif (incroyable)
